Everyone either needs to do this or stop playing. This will force change for better pvp. I hate the pvp loop right now and I chose to play CS2. Just take a break. 👍
something everyone seems to forget is how fucked up the aim punch is nowadays, you can sweep a guy and even if your aim/crosshair placement is ten times better than his, if he hits you one time, aim punch rng might fuck you up, put your crosshair 3 meters away from the guys head and make you lose the fight. sweeps are now legit 50/50 regardless of player skill
its called flinch. if you get shot while trying to shoot, its going to have a negative impact on your aim, period. y'all keep forgetting that this is tarkov, they dont give two shits about what you think the game should be. go play cod, pleb.
tbf , i dont see the enjoyment of just sitting still, i get being agressive punishes you more , but atleast you get to play a game and not a waiting sim
tbf tarkov is supposed to be extremely hardcore and slow. That's been the goal forever. So the ape W key enjoyers get mad at people for playing the game how it was made to be played. hunt showdown plays how the pvp pushers want tarkov to play, very competitive. Tarkov leans more into being immersive rather than competitive.

Streamers have been saying the exact same things my guy, for whatever reason this community just hates streamers and chalk up everything they say as "You're just crying that this game isn't COD". Ironically if people and the devs listened to streamers back then, this whole problem could've been prevented.

imo all inertia should do in tarkov is prevent you from being sonic if you have a fridge on your back and prevent a-d strafe, and personal opinion but the graphics look like shit as any pmc past 30 meters have the shades of dark colors and green + shitty fog
So it seems introducing all these pointless "realism" mechanics ended up reducing the PvP from what was once known as some of the most intense, tactical, immersive, and indepth gunplay a game could offer into "whoever has the most patience to sit still in a corner wins". Who would've thought?
These fuckin cod players are ruining the game, this game should be a highly tactical pvp game. Weight system, inertia, audio are just right for the game bc its just the way it is in real life. I am so tired of these streamers running, jumping, pushing around like its a video game! By the way, man i love fuel.
if I break a leg irl it takes me 3-4 weeks to heal. They should make it so I can only scav for 3-4 weeks in game and 3-4 days irl when I get a fracture
How about making it that you can extract anywhere on the border ofthe map i dont think in real life have a extract point to begin with oh also how about making a bush much more realistic so that your gun stuck to branch and stick in it? Sounds awesome right
@@taeyeoff exactly, at end of the day, its a video game. I dont know why there are ppl trying to justify some of the shit patch saying that its realistic. Well, ppl can not spawn into another raid after getting shot and died irl, you have to wait for the next wipe. The comparison is absolutely bs.
i have not been running into a ton of extract/bush campers this wipe, probably less than last wipe actually. maybe this is the most efficient way to play, but i wouldnt have fun playing this way and i do well enough that i dont find a need to rat out for extra loot. also using leg meta has just never clicked for me, can't change my muscle memory that hard when i play other games. pk change hasnt hit me too hard either, never liked to run prepained and having a prop in my hotbar is enough to save me when i lose a leg, and at that point i know where the enemy is cause he just shot at me, so the blurry vision isnt too bad, more just annoying for the next few minutes after the fight is over. as always love your content
I came back this wipe after quitting when inertia was implemented mainly because I knew that inertia was the moment when tarkov started to cater to rats. It really wasn't like this back in the day. I've now given up and just joined them, i spent like 3 hours on reserves yesterday just sitting on dome waiting for people to extract. The way BSG intended.

I think instead of changing in game mechanics they should focus on making a better anticheat. something like overwatch in csgo were players can watch tarkov clips and decide if their cheating would be nice then that could be sent to BSG. also a replay system, desperately need that. and they should also put loot back in rooms and stuff. because right now since its kind of late wipe i dont even play my PMC really. i just scav lighthouse hit the rouges for guns and armor and hit the valuable loot spots. then when i get a bunch i go labs or woods. no point in wasting money on mid tier gear to end up dying for some stupid reason. people really just only rat and its so dumb. when i rat i at least try to show some agression so the person i fight can have a chance and hopefully enjoy the fight if i win
Something that has always felt insanely obvious to me but just keeps happening, is BSG needs to stop with the hammer and use a scalpel to fix what they want fixed. They nerf movement to slow fighting when movement being slowed does nothing to help fight speed. I'd increase tankyness a smidge of base health and increase the quantity of bleed and DOT effects to add tension when hit in fights so we can recapture that lost feeling of getting hit in a gun fight and panicking to fix it before it becomes a problem. But everytime they want a change they swing a sledgehammer... Not enough fights in maps? Spawn more people. (Never mind the already terrible spawn points at the time that with less players encouraged spawn killing and now with more players does the same) People cheating and vacuuming loot room items, they basically got rid of loot rooms or at least the loot in those rooms. People dying fast after getting shot, they slow the movement of everyone including the person getting shot? Basically making that change null because the dying party still dies in the same time frame but is less fun? Seriously insane. Don't even get me started on the lighting in tarkov. Like imagine if they changed spawn points instead of pushing more people in a match to get CoD results. Or took found in raid and didn't force it off of every item the moment you get home so someone can loot a PMC and find something they found and have been using for multiple missions and can use it too or sell it because it's still found in raid. Etc etc they just keep smashing the square block into the hole without even trying to shave its edges to fit the circle
the worst part is I dont want to play like this, the whole point of video games is to play them how you want, but now I cannot play fast and aggressive and instead I have to hold angles for 45 minutes and after 3 raids of nothing get off bc its already 5 am.
This gameplay is a race to the bottom. The more this is incentivized, the higher the ratio between rats and normies become and the less "loot pinatas" there are for an ever increasing population of rats. I'm aware this video a critique on the game and it is unfortunately the most viable way to play. One cannot blame gamers for using the most potent strategies and mechanics to get the W, it's up to the game developer to change it. Unfortunately, BSG only knows how to apply negative reinforcement to influence behavior and that's how we got to this mess. When was the last time we had any non-trivial QoL in-game mechanic?
I am a very average player but lean towards the w-key chad playstyle using fake sprint pushes, grenades and prefires to take control of the map and while I agree it may not be realistic the fact that if you move or make a sound you die is ruining this game. if they just revert the sound changes so that you can hear someone sprinting from only 60 meters and not 100 it would be so much better, people (even "chads" and high leveled skilled PMCs) are afraid to move since the sound is so fucked up in its current state. Rotating and flanking is straight up useless if people hear you unless you are underweight and crouching at the slowest speed, which is too slow and your rotate will be in vain. I have had times where I heard someone who was crouchmoving at sandbags from the generator in reserve bunker, like what the hell is BSG thinking? If these changes continue im 99% sure that most streamers except stankrat will end up leaving the game, even if its their way of making money. I have seen LVNDMARK sit in bushes for 10-15 minutes cause "that is the way to play nowadays". If they could just change it so that all playstyles work in this game. The game has so much potential. Even when it was the "gigachad" meta or whatever ratting and playing slow was still super effective. In my opinion they should just revert all changes except the painkiller one but remove the blur, I don't care if my game goes black and white when on painkillers but at least let me have a sharp image. Sorry for the long rant i'm just so passionate about this game and want everyone to be able to enjoy it.
very good takes,... i find myself not enjoying tarkov due to lack of ballance, bad game/combat mechanics, economy and systems. As you said, for me its a COD with extra steps. And im not COD player i have 5k hours in Tarky. Im looking forward to play Arena. At least im gonna PvP more. ... Don't complain about the overweight messing up your movement. It genuinely makes sense you're not going to move like you normally do when carrying something like a tank battery in a big bag like a pilgrim with some dude's gun.
Multiplayer games are „ruined“ by teenagers, unemployed people and people that have gaming as a singular hobby. I am okay with that, it just means regular people like me gravitate to completely different genres.

Just the fact that you have rationalized camping shows you haven't touched the grass for too long. Then what is the purpose of playing and farming loot if you intend to camp with a nade or cheap ass smg.
I kind of understand the chads molding over this, however i think i prefer this kind of tarkov rather than the W-ing peekers advantage full of BS that was before! Also this kind of play style has a lot lower skill floor so more ppl can do it. And i think it makes sense given the setting of the game.
You can just say you suck at tarkov and all these changes that obviously help you seem good but the simple truth is now I’m the one waiting for you to extract and I won’t miss 10 shots when I see you you will die instantly 30 minutes into your raid for nothing😊

The more people do this, the less effective it becomes. This gameplay requires naive normies to actually go out and loot for you to kill. If this becomes the norm, no one is doing the looting so what exactly will be the point?

I would honestly say do not painkill at all, only if needed, i stopped using them all together entirely, not needed them in the entire wipe so far and am lvl38 with 300+ raids so far. I never thought the allways painkiller meta was good so i liked the change so far, flesh ammo is actually better then it was before due to that. if you shoot someone with hp/ MK13 5.56 it actually did something to them instead of them sprinting straight into cover and them headpeeking making me use m88a1 again which feels stale to be honest and camping is boring too! If you get shot and your leg gets blacked maybe you werent really paying attention to your surroundings because that happens extremely rarely to me.
If you have so many hours, then how are you not aware of the fact that flesh ammo is effectively the same because when you get shot your stamina is drained so you arent running fuckall anyways? No matter where you get shot, with what ammo, your stamina is FUCKING GONE, so your wall of text is just obsolete. Stupid animal@@ilikevacation439
