I shouldn't have to fight against people's credit card gear with my scuffed ass vepr hunter, it's simply unfair. We should reject the concept of p2w entirely in any and all games, even if the game's map mechanics lessen the unfairness. You will die to p2w gear in this game, it's not negligible. It's insane to me that people think p2w mechanics are acceptable in pvp games especially.
ABI is perpetually late wipe, thats the reason why whether gear is earned or bought is irrelevant. If you start a brand new ABI account right now its the same as starting a brand new tarkov run late wipe. If you think fighting geared players with what you have access to at lvl 1 is "unfair" then you're probably the type to quit tarkov the moment you fall behind.
The longer I played it yes. The loot spawns are crap, you need to play a labs raid equivalent basically to make any money. Went back to tarkov lol Plus no storyline, the quest lines feel like a mobile game.
That's the point of the video. The loot spawns are bad because you're playing normals. People in tarkov complain about how its too easy to make money, then when nikita nerfs the map they complain that there is too little loot. Here you get to choose, if you want a low loot map with low geared players, you play normals. If you want juiced raids and insane loot (labs) then you play forbidden. If you're not good enough for forbidden then try lockdown. You get to choose when and where you want big loot, unlike tarkov where you're at the whim of whatever nikita feels like that patch.
I was doing daily’s to warm up all wipe and yes the 1.5 mil a day really helps make the main game more enjoyable. Seeing I can lose a few high gear score kits and it not really be that big of a deal. I have found arena to be extremely unstable with input lag. Some games it’s on point, some it’s in the other teams favor. It from there servers, I’ll just hope they fix it soon.
Your experience has been exactlly mine, ive been playing nothing but arena and having tons of fun. Mainly on equator, which checks out since you used to see 90% of my raids were on factory.
In my personal opinion the Teamfight game mode is better to play bc Blast gang fights are first to 7 so they take longer but you get very similar XP amounts. If it’s a good enemy team you could go for 10+ rounds and get the same 7k Xp you’d get in 6 team fight rounds.
I like snd cause it has an objective so it makes player positioning more predictable. People in tf just sit in random corners and take up the entire round, blastgang rounds play out faster because you can just force bomb to make them push.
I enjoy warming up on free for all. Getting my daily quests rerolled to last hero quests, then run a few games and get them all done. I like how the xp and money is not as good as if i was playing the main game. I could make more money in a 10 mins scav then you can make in one game and i think thats a good thing. Its the perfect balance between being rewarded for playing not not punished for not playing
You're actually forgetting an important issue. Assume that you will never survive as a beginner. Your mindset should be set accordingly, otherwise you will quickly become extremely frustrated. You should care absolutely nothing that you die and lose, time after time after time. BUT if you keep going despite only losing, you will find that you get better and better. That certainly applies to Tarkov the main game as well.
I supported BSG in playing Arena, but as a result of my support, I got punished. My rep still hasn't recovered. My character is level 42, but the trader is only level 2. Screw you, BSG!
I've played the arena on the start, when basically no one except the select few knew about it, and they all were pretty good players who knew what they're doing in terms of tarkov pvp (at least in arena). But then every streamer started to tell about how arena is imba, and more clueless players started to pour in, making every team fight/bomb game with randoms insufferable
Just grind the ranked ladder, sbmm is really wide or doesn't even exist for unranked. Which imo is a good thing, sbmm being too tight has been ruining games lately.
I don't understand how people don't see arena as OBSURDLY pay to win like game ruining unless you have 100+ might as well not play tarkov type frustration sucks not being able to afford it and it sucks when everyone says its "not that good" and "you level up slower" like yeah im sure the slightly less xp makes you level slower as if leveling up was the only form of progression there's a million things and when playing Arena on wipe day is the best option instead of playing the actual game is wild to me
Arena on wipe day is the best option for progression only if you can consistently top frag every blastgang game and win, or place top 3 in last hero. Even then, arena is horribly inefficient after about levels 18 or so, pretty much when you start the snoreline gauntlet. For majority of the population, questing is still the way to go. Already working on a video talking about the misconception of arena being op for rubles or whatever streamers been complaining about recently
Who the fuck plays ranked arena games and think they mean something ? Cocaoo who’s probably the best player in the world and playing arena competitively is D+ because everyone cba lmao
Great video im lvl 57 because of arena dailies and weeklies but i also played a fair bit of main game. As soon as you hit level 45 xp rewards for dailies get crazy in arena
@@taeyeoff it splits up their community. I know a lot of players which are already after 3-4weeks over lvl 50(marathon and arena exp boost) they will play another 2-3 weeks and than they get bored and play something else again . The PvP in the maingame is inconsistent and in Arena it’s repetitive. This drains the longterm motivation drastically imo
Doesn't make sense, that only applies to the top percentile of the population. There are far more dad players that quit 1 month in because they think they can't compete with chads because not only are sweats better at the game, they also have gear advantage. Now timmies have a tool to get more PvP experience.
@@taeyeoff yeah let’s talk again in 1-2 months when the wipe hype is completely over and look who is still left playing the game. Maybe than you get what I mean… The gamer dads mostly swapped to pve at least the few I know.
I have given arena a chance this wipe, but it is so incredibly laggy and I don't understand why. I have been dying around corners a lot and people just teleport when peeking from behind cover. I've also been playing on low ping (30) and i get around 80 fps. Just feels terrible to play
Weird. I think there’s no west coast server for NA or there’s just one instead of multiple like the base game. I was lagging quite a bit at the beginning of wipe but it’s mostly better now
Not sure, maybe depends on server? I'm west coast NA and pinging 80-100 and it feels fine. When I play with friends in asia (I'm like 170 ping in some clips) it feels like any other game with high ping.
unpopular opinion but I think the arena integration is the best thing for solo players and people who dont have as much time, i'm having much more fun this wipe now that my progress isnt being hardstopped due to only getting 5,000 experience for a 40 minute raid
the only issue with arena for me is in-game desync i can see that i hit the gun in the face but he does not die,but there issue were in CSGO as well so maybe they will be fixed eventually.
Hey just shooting in the dark over here don't expect anyone to to respond i am using a rx 6700 xt 12GB with a i7-11700K 3.60GHz at 2K and my cpu usage stays below 70% while my GPU is always above 90% or maxed out, VRAM usage always gets close but not to the limit, even this case, i don't get consistent frames, the average is 90fps with it going as high as 130 and as low as 50, messing around with settings and graphical options don't help much even though i thought it was a gpu bottleneck, the only thing i could think off is that i have a memory bottlneck, it is 32GB but is a quadchannel, with two different pair of 8GB sticks, could this be the problem? i haven't experienced any BSOD due to incompability and as far as i am aware XMP is currently enabled, i am stumped as to what could be the problem, other than nikita code.
@@taeyeoff Also, what do you think about arena now? I think it really is coming together at this point. Tbf i have over 700+ matches in arena but my friends also are now finally liking it
