I have a tuned Trackhawk that has stock pump in it. Does it need to be tuned once upgraded?

Trx owner here, drive the thing like 2 or times a month, past sunday threw check engine light on for low coolant, coolant is topped off but now oil dip stick has light metal shavings.... anyone??? 13,486 miles
