This song is so fkn tough. I love Boston with all my heart. And I was born in California and raised in Florida. The people of Boston are some of the greatest people I've ever met. Respect to y'all. Hope to get back up there one day.
It’s funny I born and raised my friends from Cali and Florida always hate on Boston Of course they never been Aloha for your kind words spread the Irish bread my brothers
I spent a little time in Boston for the Patriots Divisional Game against the Texans on their way to SB51, aka the 28-3 game. Great city and I agree. Great people.
Saw them July 19th 2015 at Fenway Park they opened up for the Foo Fighters, the entire stadium erupted when they played this song. It's a moment I'll never forget.
Goddamn. When I went for the concrete and gold tour, they had a (no offence) horrible band open for them. We were all asleep by the time Dave and the boys got on. If they opened up with this we would have been wide awake Haha. Slightly jealous
wcwlives I swear the opening for this song is like the G note for Emos lol. My head literally pops up from whatever I’m doing just to make sure I heard what I heard
I'm a sailor peg And I've lost my leg Climbing up the top sails I've lost my leg! I'm shipping up to Boston, whoa I'm shipping up to Boston, whoa I'm shipping up to Boston, whoa I'm shipping off to find my wooden leg I'm a sailor peg And I've lost my leg Climbing up the top sails I've lost my leg! I'm…
I have to thank my friend for having invited me to a live of the company Pega systems, in which I had the opportunity to know this wonderful band, of which I am became a fan. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
We used to walk out to this song in high school football. My school was named after Saint Patrick. I still get goose bumps walking out to that opening riff.
we played this song in my home town at local koncert. the people in that concert was so amazed by this song they started dancind although there was no space. and finally they asked ancor for this particular song... thanks Dropkick Murphys for this song... its amazing :D
Especially history, I went up there several times and the city dates back to the American Revolution when Paul Revere and the other founding fathers started the seeds for this country.
This was my son's college baseball walk-up song. The intro was played as he walked up to bat. The crowd always loved it. An Irish lad-Clayton Patrick Kelly- Dallas Baptist University...
Went to Boston for the first time yesterday and went to a Yankee vs Red Sox game and heard this song played just before the bottom half of the 9th inning while the Sox were behind 2-1 and came back and beat them in the 10th. Although I'm a diehard Braves fan, it was awesome and epic seeing just about the fiercest sports rivalry in American history live and in person. And this is coming from a UNC fan.
I've wanted to see them for years, but I'm a tall, skinny little Irish kid that would probably get my ribs broken at a DKM concert! I held my own at Social Distortion, so I might be alright.
Calvin Maynard i cant say i havent seen sone ruffnechs get their noses broken lol or get stomped lol but its worth it hell most my crew were gangly n tall but tuff as nails lol. U gota go!
I was at TD Garden when I first heard this song and it was awesome to listen to. The crowd just erupted when they played this. It was the year the patriots won there last super bowl
I went to a reinassance fair a few years ago with my parents. This song was played kinda like a concert. Best experience of my life and ill never forget it
Never been to Boston, I'm an American of Irish decent and proud of it! The music of the DKM's just resonates in my heart and soul! Thanks for your great music! ATB!
