We were dropped blindfolded in the Dubai Desert with no money and no phone. The challenge was simple, in a world where we have become so dependent on having everything we need just a tap a way, would we be able to get back home relying only on our instincts and the kindness of strangers? Will we be able to get out of the desert, hitchhike a ride, get a stranger to buy us food?

The first and only time I ever hitchhiked (because we didn't realize transportation didn't run on Sundays) was in Tuscany, Italy - Montespertoli. Great times.

This is legitimately man, woman and wild show that I used to watch on discovery as a kid but better🥺❤️ It's so nice to relive the childhood shows, where hosts express their creativity with no corporate pressure whatsoever. I'm rooting for you guys!! (and shows used to have a camera crew, and you guys did it alone so the level of authenticity in this is just beyond, and we do live in interesting times)

haha had to use a strong impact opener to try and secure a ride 😂Asking strangers for food was definitely the hardest part, felt so much social anxiety haha. Glad you liked the video, we appreciate youuu 💛

It takes a special breed of person to do this! 😂It's incredible how generous people can be, and how confident you have to be to take on this challenge! I really loved this, but I would not be able to handle the sand in the shoes. I like doing overnight hikes all the time, but as soon as someone mentions sand... I'm out of there! Great job seeing it through though, Rach. (:

haha a little crazy, yes 😂 We did walk in circles in the desert for hours, we just trimmed it down for the video haha. We were dropped in the desert at 8am and we only made it to the first car after 11am 😅

@@SteAndRach 3 hours is not a bad effort - there was a really interesting study done by Jan Souman that found that without landmarks, people naturally walk in circles. Be careful guys, the last thing we want to see is a 'RU-vidrs die in the desert' headline! 😱

I was waiting to reach home to enjoy watching your video today.
