I’m 20 minutes into the video… dude… this new direction you guys are taking is incredible. The guests have been incredible, the editing is great: I love the contrast cuts from the interview to the clips from his videos… it keeps me hooked. What you’re doing feels REALLY unique and I’ll tell you why: You’re seeking out creators that have done something unique to make it big. Each video, you’ve asked about what it was like before their first “viral” video and the struggles on that side of the journey. It’s incredibly unique because you guys are in the exact same spot, waiting for the viral video, so the fact that you both are addressing that “hey, I’m in this stage right now”, makes me feel like I’m on the journey with you. The addressing of all of the RU-vid struggles you have as small creators while interviewing big creators about their struggles as small creators feels really unique to me. I’m super impressed. ESPECIALLY with all of the people you’ve had on. You guys are so close to something popping off big; I know it’s coming.
Ahh thanks Jed, you are the best!! Great observation. This direction feels super aligned too us as well. It ticks so many boxes vbut most of all we really really enjoy every single convo we have had so far! Glad to hear you are finding it valuable. And, as we already told you, looking forward to the day we get to have a creator confession sesh with you
I totally agree. You're making content that's win-win-win (for yourselves, the guest and your audience). I'm so looking forward to you growing big. Been here a looong time ago. I've stopped my YT journey and you're still going. ;)
Man oh man... I loved chatting with you guys. The road to success is not linear, nor easy, but having great friends like the two of you makes it just a bit easier. It's a mindset!
Ahh thanks Natasha!! And honestly the more we connect with bigger creators the more we realized that the feeling of being “lost” never really goes away haha 😅
I think the most important lesson from all this is to realize that your journey is your journey. Will's honest advice to stay true to yourself came from his own experience. It's like saying "Don't wait until you're rich to start living your life intentionally". Cause otherwise when the moment comes, the question will be "Okay so this is it, what now", rather than a grateful feeling for having attracted the right things, people and moments into your life. I remember you sharing a similar realization with Ammar recently. This editing is so good btw :)
Yuup, here is to living life according to your values, interests and rules 🍻🙌 And also being aware that we change as people and we constantly have to check in to see if we are still moving in a direction that is aligned to us or not!
I appreciated the video and the playful question format, however I would have liked to hear Will tell his origin story before going into the randomized question, for more context. Keep it up!
Guys, don't ever stop. I know all too well how the "eating shit" feels like, but trust me - as long as I've been following your work, I had this sense deep down that you ARE gonna make it. You can just smell good intentions on people, and you seem like one of the most genuinely warm-hearted people on the internet. Would love to meet y'all one day ;)
Aww thanks Bartek, this comment truly means a lot! Our focus on RU-vid has definitely changed but we have no intention of stopping. We will be focusing more on formats that are more true to us, have synergies with our business and don't take us months to create. Anyways, appreciate the kind words and hope to cross paths with you too one day!
Amazing conversation guys! Will is a big inspiration for my videos so thank you so much for sharing this. Also love the "Comforably Uncomfortable Conversations" format, keep it up!
Ahh glad to hear you enjoyed the convo! We are definitely doubling down on creator confessions and having comfortably uncomfortable conversations- already have 8 other episodes filmed :D
You all have such an incredible dynamic -- loved watching this so much!! Ste & Rach you are INCREDIBLE at making these videos, loved every minute of it!! (non-biased opinion, of course)
It was all fun and games until he answered level 3, and I remembered...how you grow up and what the people around you know, matters SO MUCH. This guy is a prime example of growing up in the right environment and becoming a healthy man as a result. I love that I grew up in El Salvador, but extreme poverty, misery and ignorance were the foundation of my environment as a kid. ie, What does it matter that you're a genius at selling if all you can do is re-sell shoes and such just to survive because you live in a third world country with a parent who's a drug addict? Environment matters. Sad but true.
Totally agree, your environment plays a HUGE role in shaping us! It's a frustraiting reality of having to play the cards you are dealt with. We grew up in a positive environment so can't fully put ourselves in the situation you have described. But you seem to be very self aware which is the first step to making change. Having that chip on your shoulder can be a good short term motivator to grow and help you create a better environment for yourself. Wishing you all the best
The Lord willing I will be 73 next month. Life goes extremely extremely fast the older you get. 12 to 24yrs. old feels the same as 24 to 48. And it feels the same as 48 to 96. Google about vitaminas . The stock market and google how to get saved to have eternal life.Remember the 3 main things in life are your spiritually your health and your money. And I know you guys are trying to be real, but try to curb the cursing.I know I curse once a year, but I don't know about you doesn't it hurt your ears when you hear somebody curse?
