Back in 2007 marketing was harder BUT IT'S FREE. You have to go to different platforms like forums, yahoo groups and etc... find the category where to post it and that's it. All it takes are time and skill to find places which is not that hard. Now it's easier BUT you have to pay and bid to get the word out. I still choose the old way or marketing online rather than spend thousands of dollars thru FB ads and IG influencers.
A little bit of time and a little bit of effort gets you free, organic traffic. Can't argue with that logic no matter how much the Internet landscape changes over time. Cheers! -David
My concern would be.. if I’m drop shipping to a customer, wouldn’t the supplier name be on the product causing me to get refunds because they release they could get it cheaper
i dont get it. If you order from supplier, which you need to buy in bulk to get the wholesale price, so what do you with the rest of that bulk when your customer only ordered 1 pc?
Hey Dan! You only place an order with the supplier once your customer has made a purchase. Then, they send a single unit directly to the customer so you don't have to worry about inventory. Here's more information on how it works (bit.ly/2u4d3q0)! -David
Hey Zakir! If you go to Oberlo.com you can start building your dropshipping business. You can import products and once you're ready to sell them, you can start your Shopify store. Once you do, Oberlo would be the "plug-in" that helps you source and manage your dropshipping products. Here is more information on how it all works (bit.ly/2u4d3q0). -David
I do have a question. if 100 customers buy from your store daily what information do you give AliExpress? Are you going to have to put 100 orders in with 100 different people names ,addresses , and my credit card number?? how do I get paid? direct deposit? check?
Hi there! The Oberlo app pushes out the order information to AliExpress and you pay AliExpress in bulk for the orders that you're looking to fulfill. You receive the money from your sales revenue to your linked bank account in your Shopify Admin. Typically payouts occur 72 hours after the sales, so be sure to have a cash float on hand to fulfill orders in the early days. -David

Hi there! We haven't got an invoicing system per se, but there are receipts that can be printed off from your Oberlo dashboard from the suppliers. -David
I've watched a lot of videos on dropshipping but the proble of handling returns is never discussed. Also, are ther any US or Canadian dropshipped we can use? I realize that stuff out of China is cheap but surely we can use North American dropshippers...can't we?
Yes, most definitely! We have a growing network of North American based warehouses. You can filter by shipping location in the product search section of Oberlo. -David
@@Oberlo what about tackling the problem of handling returns, can you answer that ? ! This is a BIG concern for retailers online or in a brick & mortar store
Hey Purnima! For returns, we suggest sending them to your home address. If the product is broken you can send it back to the supplier, otherwise you can use it for a promotion or a giveaway. Here's a detailed guide about dealing with returns and refunds (bit.ly/2LLw5MX). -David
Hi there! We're waiting to comment on this because until we've got more information from policymakers -- it's not a guarantee this policy comes into effect. We'll address the whole user base in the next little while regarding the issue. In the meantime, Oberlo has many warehouses located in the USA that can help absorb this concern should it come into law. -David
@@Oberlo According to one of the expert, epacket prices are being negotiated a year earlier than they were due to be negotiated. The most likely outcome is that they will increase by $1-3, which will have no impact on drop Shipping at all.☺
Hey there, thanks for the question. Here is a guide on our community forums to dealing with returns and refunds (bit.ly/2LLw5MX). We'll definitely try to work this into a video in the future! Also, we have a growing list of available American suppliers available on the Oberlo marketplace. If you go to app.oberlo.com/explore, you can select suppliers with locations in the United States only! Finally, Shopify is the only platform you will be able to use Oberlo. Here is more information on how the two work together (bit.ly/2u4d3q0). -David
Absolutely, you can dropship from anywhere in the world. The only thing you need is a payment gateway so customers can pay you. Here is a list by country (bit.ly/2vaOpVm)! -David
Hey Enoch, thanks for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear the product selection isn't to your liking. We have hundreds of thousands of products, so it's unfortunate you're not seeing anything you want to sell! If you need some help finding products, I would suggest emailing our support team at hello@oberlo.com. Regardless, I'll pass this feedback on to our product team so they can work on a better product selection in the future! -David
