HI everybody,
After 2 years of doing RU-vid videos there was about time for me to do a drugstore makeup tutorial.
If you are in Europe, especially in France, you know that the drugstores in here don't have as many brands as you see in the US.
I've been to Walgreens and CVS in the US and I was shocked with the amount of affordable makeup you find in there !
This is definitely not the only drugstore makeup I'll do. I'm going to be in LA in January and I will get more products from there for an upcoming video. Any suggestion is welcome!

What I love is that I could somewhat tell you weren't super excited about this tutorial, but you found a way to make it fun and get excited. It's a sign that you truly do what you love! Thank you for catering to those of us who can't always afford luxurious products all at once. :)

When I started watching your videos, I stop buying drugstore makeup they don't last and make me look older. I already bought some of the Anastasia BBH, and makeups that you use and many other things like better than sex mascara etc. I got great results and get nice compliments from friends. i do have a wedding on 1st Dec. 17 and I am watching all of your videos. No doubt quality matters!! Thanks

Hats off for trying something new! Dont worry we all know you are a talented makeup artist no matter what products you use. I love watching your videos! Very informative. But we all know Most high end is just better, stays longer, color match usually right on. Blends easier ect... and if I was having a makeup artist do my makeup I would hope they used high end. Thank you your one of my favorites

There are low end products that are better quality than the most expensive ones. Expensive doesn't necessarily equate to quality when it comes to makeup. The high end products are usually just for the experience, and because clients like yourself equate that to quality.

LOVE that you did this, a make up tutorial for thrifty ladies like myself who will never buy "high end" make up. Not that there's anything wrong with doing that, I just prefer to spend my money on other things. But clearly you can look fabulous either way. I especially like the run-down on when matte is "too" matte and the give and take of matte-ness vs. luminousness.

Esti preferata mea! Imi place de la felul in care machiezi, pana la felul in care ne vorbesti. Nu esti doar super talentata, ci si super placuta prin prezenta si vorba. E o reala placere sa te urmaresc. Iti dau dreptate in totalitate. Conteaza si calitatea produselor folosite in relizarea unui machiaj frumos, dar cred ca intr-o mai mare masura conteaza "mana de lucru". Iar asta o spun eu, care am absolvit un curs de make-up si desi imi place sa machiez, nu pot spune ca sunt una dintre cele mai bune la asta. Te urmaresc cu drag, pe toate retelele de socializare. Spor in toate! :)

You are right it doesn’t matter the products you use. What really matters is the how you take good care of your facial skin that is the main foundation our all the things. You can apply the most expensive makeup, but if the skin is not prep well it won’t look good.. Thank you for sharing you always do amazing makeup tutorials and you look beautiful.

I freaking love you. 💜 You completely changed my relationship with my skin. I still can't apply make up to save my life, but between P50 and Tatcha's The Essence I am a new woman! So thank you for that. On a side note, would you consider doing a tutorial only with products not tested on animals?

Complexion is key, I totally agree. I’d spend time on complexion and skip eyeliner (I do eyeliner everyday) if I had only time for one of them.

Lovely, informative video as ever. In Great Britain good high street brush brands are Boots, Eco tools and Real Techniques. I love my expensive make up but I've recently bought a mascara by Revlon, the volume one with the pink lid, over a Lash Primer it is fantastic.

ioana114 ☺️ Thank you! It does not move at all! However on my left eye I've applied a lot and that day I went to see a movie, "Detroit". I cried and when I got home I saw that glittery gel peeling off my left eye. The right one was perfect so I felt it was only because I've applied too much. Nu stiu unde locuiesti dar in Ianuarie vin in LA la IMATS si o sa mergem probabil si la the Grand Canyon. Daca esti in zona si ai timp da-mi un semn si poate ne vedem ☺️ Te pup!

For your brows try the black in that pencil! It’s more of a dark gray but I have the same coloring you do and it works fabulously for me!

Thank you for this tutorial 😘😘😘 I really wanted to see what you think is really good because I know you use highend products on a daily basis and I knew If you are going to do a drugstore tutorial you are going to use be the best of them.😁 I bought the microbrow in ashbrown and I used it for a year. And than I found one from catrice, a pencil, and omg :)) for a brow pencil from drugstore it is amazing. It stays in place for 10 hours and it really is ashy. The only inconvienence is that if you don't use a sharpnere everytime it is not going to be as precise and as sharp as the microbrow. But for 3.25 euro it last more than 2 months on a daily use. The microbrow is 9 euros and after a month, a month and a half it was all out ( and I really am light handed because I love the natural brow look). Don't get me wrong, I love the microbrow. I always have one at home. It is very precise, very easy to work with and the spooly is really good, but I did not find a match color...

Before I even saw this video I was watching another of your videos the other day, actually several of them. Gorgeous. Yes highend makeup is better quality and maybe staying power but one needs to know how to apply and use the tools like you do. drugstore products are great for beginner like me and also someone who can’t afford the highend. Love to see this video and also give us your opinion if you like a product or not even if it is not highend.
