Andrea I recently created a dressing space for my makeup since I started following you after which of course I bought many products and realised needed better light space etc. initially I would store my brushes in a holder but realised that I don’t use them all every day and they would catch dust (India is a dusty place!) so I started using the leather brush holder like you have suggested. It’s placed right next to my makeup so I can just roll it open and shut and my brushes are organised in order of need :). I do clean them thoroughly every 15 days but wash my foundation brushes more frequently. Not a BB person as it needs so much cleaning but when I do use them, I actually wash them with the little soaps picked up at hotels. They are so handy. Great to see that our organisation skills are a bit similar :) Looking forward to the next video 👍🏻

It's a Romanian usage to have everything in one bag😂😂 I remember this from my childhood. I used to keep them in a same similar bag but you literally changed my life. You presented last year a gorgeous organiser black case for make-up and I bought two of them same as you have: one for make-up and one for accessories. I also follow your tips and I get lots of compliments from my husband. I'm more organized and more confident when wearing makeup because I know I now I do it in the right way. I cannot thank you enough. You CHANGED my life. Thank you.😍

Ali Andreea, you are my favorite makeup artist. First of all, my makeup table is just like a person opening her over spending credit card statement. Now, that I watched your video, I realized that you are totally right. I never find my mascara, because I have a lot, and the reason for that, it's because many makeup are discontinued, and then, I keep buying things that I like as if the world was going to end next day. I need less stress after all, it's just makeup and the only thing I'll need to do, it's organize them and put them back in the same place. Thank you so very much.

Hi Andrea- what's really helped me- I go to a container/organizer store and buy wire baskets that are stackable. I use one-two baskets for each category- 1 all skincare,/foundations 2. all eyeshadow- singles and pallets w mascara and eyebrow products 3. all blushers- cream and power w bronzers and contour. This has helped me save time looking for stuff and it also helps minimize how many products I use. Love from NYC xoxogena

OMG! I LOOOVVVVEEEEE this video. Yes! Need the everyday makeup kit video. My one thing I’ve done to help myself ties in with this video. I found that I had WAY too much stuff and was overwhelmed every day! So I’ve categorized each thing into “containers” - all foundations in one; blushes in another; shadows etc. it’s helping me to see what I have and to realize I DON’T need to keep buying more! Thanks 💄💋

I started to smile as soon as you started talking. It was as if you had been watching me ! Never has been getting told off been so much fun. I have got better since I subscribed to your channel, my skincare is all stood up in one of those zip topped cases. It’s getting the palettes and lipsticks and pencils in a system that makes sense that I need to do. They are all in that bag that I tip out every morning - and you are so right about the duplicitous buying, and finding stuff you’ve forgotten about.

Great tips! I’ve been using Expensive makeup cases when I travel and I want to keep them pristine so I always put anything that can spill or make a mess in a small plastic bag inside the makeup case. That has saved me a few times.

Thank you so much for this video and for another one that changed my life! Literally! After the video where you showed how you organized your travel makeup bag, I bought on Amazon a similar one and... Guess what? Since that day, I found that I have more products forgotten. I threw away the things that I didn't use or the ones that I had for too long and now I do exactly what you say: I know exactly what I have and what I need, I can change my makeup whenever I want without wasting my time. Love this ! Thank you ! I have started to use the clear plastic zip bags - the same shape as the one you show in black - but SEE THROUGH! So great. Also there is a brush holder with zip - for travel. When you open it if folds back and turns into a ‘brush stand’ it’s very clever. Love all your tips - You are a true PRO - with a twist! Because you make it fun fun fun! Encore! 👏 👏

I have the Alex desk from Ikea. My make up, face products, accessories etc. is sorted in that, brushes in a jar on top. When I am done I pop a few items for touch up during the day in a small pouch that fits in my purse.

Amazing the video, I leave my every day makeup organized in the top of a towel, in the bathroom. And I only put in the makeup bag when I am going to work. The brushes I put in cups, and the beauty blender cup I use to put eye shadow brushes. I also use another cup to store rounded items like concealer, mascara, etc. The glitters and other eyeshadows that I don't use every day go to the drawers. Doing this usually my bag has few items (just powder to reapply during day and lipstick). And I love to buy the travel size makeup and skincare to make easy store all this items and not make a mess. And with travel size items you can have everything in the top of a towel like me :)

Brilliant video Ali. I did have to chuckle, because years ago when I went out, I used to carry EVERYTHING in my make-up bag bar the kitchen sink. Now I only take pressed powder with a small brush, lip liner and brush, lipstick and gloss. The rest stays at home all beautifully arranged in clear perspex drawer units. If I go away I have a medium sized make-up travel case (thank you Amazon) with dividers that can be moved around to fit what I'm going to be taking. The weight has now been dutifully removed from my handbag. x💚.

Just watched this, loved it! 🙂 I keep all of the makeup I use daily in a big bag, because I just take it all out, anyway. I use another tool bag with separate little bags inside for different items (e.g. lip liners, lipsticks, eyeliners, eyeshadows, mascaras, implements, etc.) I must admit that I have been “bad” with the brushes and sponges, just throwing them in my daily bag along with the makeup, etc. I guess I need to get a couple different storage things for those. 😊

Seeing everything is essential! I also have taken my lipstick and store them standing and treat them like gold, it makes me want to wear them more often and really soak in the experience of using them!!
