Are you still using Motul 800? I have 1l of that oil and I plan to start using it in my Chinese trimmers and chainsaws which are around 50cc. What is your experience and what ratio do you recommend? Is 1:40 a lot of oil for these engines with this oil or maybe go with 1:50?
I used it in trimmers and chainsaws. For my chinese chainsaw isn't the best oil. I can not increase the temperature so it could burn. It worked well in an x-torq saw though. It burned super clean. It depends on what type of cutting are you intended for. In heavy application it works very well.
@@CristiRo Today I used up one tank from Motul 800 off road at 1:45 in a 50cc saw It works great, the color and appearance of the spark plug is great, coffe brown, no oil fouling. I didn't take off the muffler to see what the condition of the piston is but I will do it after a few tanks
@@viracocha3125 Good to know that it works for you. Off road is a great version of the 800T series. A nice thing is also that the color is red, so you see when you mix it with gas. On the road racing version, the color of the oil is kinda yellow so it harder to see when you mix it with gas.
Salut!
