This is where the UK scene started before all the violence. UK Lyrical flows started with ragga Jungle then progressed to drum & bass MC-ing before Garage MC-ing and way before Grime and UK rap. Americans need to know we always had our own scene with influences from Ragga toasting - Jamaica the birth of the UK scene.

Dnb has been around since 90s British teenagers been raving to this type of music for a longggg time

drum & bass is about the rave its not really about story telling like nas or Eminems it more about HALF TIME DOUBLE TIME rhythms but at same time you cant shy away from saying its very east side hip hop battling in the 80s although it was originally born from that .... they were both born of the sound system culture of jamaic ... which I find massively interesting how both hip hop d&b (which is the mother of uk garage n grime btw) have met in the middle some how....its a story that should be known...especially the drum n bass scene n how raga n dancehall managed to infiltrate techno n house raves to become what is the biggest global uk music exported by numbers since punk...look at numbers.....as soon as u understand...a honey badger n a badger resemble they aint the same n liked for different reason you have to love both scenes genres culturalistics and respect how they were formed.....its very very interesting when u look into it.....ha u don't have to now read my novel comment abovehaaaa
