I finally had the time to record something in the studio, something fun and poppy. 2024 will be a mixed bag of content coming your way and there will be a lot of changes in the variety of content. I'm excited to announce that soon. Ultimately these drum covers are what I find exciting and a pleasure to produce. It tests my musical instincts, helps hone my recording (both playing and technical side of gear), but most of all I get to create, put my own interpretation into tracks. 'Standing Naked' allowed me to put some colour in what is otherwise a simple pop tune. I love the energy shifts between the sections which then allowed me to try a heap of different groove ideas. Fun track. More to come!
