What sorta pedal would your recommend for slide doubles/triples/etc? I can heel toe pretty good with my pedal, but it's really short and grippy and I can't tell if I can't figure out slide technique cus of me or it. I'm wondering if a longer footboard would help me
I don't know how much it matters. I use a DW 7000, and I know Zach uses an Iron Cobra. Try messing with the length of your beater, that can change the amount of motion it takes to strike the bass drum. I just found what felt comfy and learned to speed it up, it takes time.
