I like MEAC Drumlines better, so take this for what it's worth. I liked Alcorn's material better, but both lines sound pretty good to me.

That's an interesting take on his comment. Personally I think the battle was boring but as a percussionist I had to check it out to see what they were gonna bring to the table...

The "big ten" school snares are using Kevlar heads instead of Mylar. Both have their advantages, but I won't get into it because it may sound insulting when I don't want to or mean to be. These kids were awesome.

@@zulu3274 Good question. I'd like to see something more original and creative. Watching them is like watching a lecture that has lots of substance but the lecturer speaks in one tone. Snooze medicine. I'd like to see them break the SWAC mold and do something original.
