I'm 54 and when I was a kid it was a handful of producers who decided who got airplay for people to hear. Now, with the internet, we get to see and hear talent from around the world and I'm so glad to have found Senri's videos a few years ago! I've also looked at Kozo's vids and Akira's and Kanade's, all are incredible percussionists! Thank you all!
nice to see a solo in this era of showy youtube drummers with some actual grooves that doesn’t just rinse fills and chops all over the kit. Senri’s great!

She runs with the big dogs! Had a couple of small narfs in the first solo a little while back.........absolutely bang on this time!! Game changer folks! Not your typical solo, more outside the box but still a good fluid program overall! Sweet! Way to go Senri!! Raise that hand and raise that bar young lady!!
As impressive as she is in solo, i personally think Senri is at her best sitting within the context of a tune with a band. Her work on Blowin' Luv for example, is far and away better than anything i have heard (seen) her do in solo. When she is within the context of being sensitive to the song and the other members of the band, she is THE BEST!!!!!!
I know i should not really say this. But i'm begging to like her playing more then .Tony Royster JR. .Baard Kolstad. .Jacob Armen. .Eric Moore. .Thomas Lang. .Thomas Pridge. Ryuga from 2014 from Japan drum solo. & many other's like Dylian from New Zeland, Senri Kawaguchi must be like Empire Ultimate hard Difficulty mode setting's, or something else she must be a robot Human or something. She never get's sleepy when she play the Drum Set Solo's????????????.
Ok i'll keep that in mind?? Tivoy Drax??, but she is Amazing in her own way??. I only seen Tony Royster JR do that flick of the stick & wrist movement's with the drum stick's. A few time's. But i'm really glad she doesn't do what Thomas Lang doe's around the Drum's & pretty much Double Kick like every five second's. Her Drumming style look's very much like Tony Royster JR'S. But Her style is not like Derek Roddy Or Eric Moore because his style is mainly Gospel Chop's, & Derek Roddy is just mainly blast beat's & heap's of double kick pedal's. & sometime's people. seam to not like it much when you play ether at open mic to much double kick pedal's on one kick pedal or two kick pedal's & there like get lost if your going to show off, or in the street's & town's so people??,,, Tell me that Drumming is pretty overrated these's day's??. Is that really True. Co'z to me Drum's are Extreme Setting's :-) :-) . & Senri Kawaguchi is making the Drum Solo's, sound Iconic & Epic. Can't wait for some more from her All in Reply to Tivoy Drax :-) :-). Doe's that mean i'm overrated as well I play, Drum's by ear & i'm helping my 10 year old Niece that lost her Mum? Draw on pc, & art book's, make music on program's like ejay & mtv & play video game's on difficulty level's & fix pc's & play sport... But my weakness are English Math's Science Cooking food in the kitchen S.O.S as in History, is not a friend of one of my skill's, my Sister was Iconi at Drawing horse's & Cooking & Playing Keyboard but she is gone :-( :-( ??
