Mileage... that is what YOYOKA always brings. She has been gigging for 10 years. It shows. Can anchor any band any genre now. Ellen's father is an ace guitarist and they jam constantly. The others are new to me too but surely they have that same home background. It was as good as could be produced. Thanks for your reaction.

These kids make me so happy, their love of rock is obvious and their talent is off the chart. Ellen started around 8 and progressed in leaps and bounds, her channel is a lot of fun to watch. Yoyoka is releasing a new original song this Sunday (May 26th) on YT (this will be her second original song so far this year) and planning on release a full album on her 15th birthday this Oct. She's been very busy since moving to LA, she's been playing just about every week at the Whisky in Hollywood at their Ultimate Jam Night with other pro-musicians (no rehearsals and killing it). Ell.en is getting to play with some of the legendary bass players (like Bootsy Collins and Victor rWooten)

Recently, on a live stream, Yoyoka said they did 4 takes and each one was great. She indicated everyone was kinda surprised that everything went so well! Those of us who were introduced to the other musicians (other than Yoyoka and Ellen ) were happily surprised as well! Thank you for your thoughtful reaction and commentary!

These kids rock!!! A while back another great young band (15, 13, and 10) did a killer cover of Hysteria. Nine years later, The Warning has toured with Muse a coupla times and killed at the 2023 MTV VMAs! So keep at it you young bands, get out and play live in front of a crowd, and have a great time! One of my TOP Muse songs, and they absolutely SLAYED it!! I'm a bass lover, so that bassline gets me every time - and Ellen is on fire here! I know it's a repeating pattern, but it's a complex one, and the speed which it's done - isn't easy! This was a real treat! Thanks Andy for showing some love to these 'kids'!! Cheers.

The only age inaccuracy is, the dark horse talent here, Charlotte Milstein on guitar, who is 14 as listed, but was 13 during these sessions. This according to a Q&A she did with Ellen. I've heard this 10x and still blown away at it all. They also did Peace of Mind and musically is even more impressive.

Thanks for the great reaction Andrew, as usual! Both these bands (this one and the one for The Ocean), were made up just to do these few covers. Most of the players didn't know each other before the bands got together. For this one, they did 4 songs total. They did practice for this band, but for The Ocean, YOYOKA and ELLEN just walk in to the studio, tune their gear and nail it first take, with no prior practice together. Amazing kids! I'm sure you subscribed during maybe even your first reaction. . Not a new channel but name was changed a while back, so maybe it dropped you....hmmm

Thanks for reaction Andrew, another group you could check out MISSIONED SOULS, they are a FAMILY band from the Philippines, they do a cover of Muse also but try their cover of THE KILL (Bury Me) by Thirty Seconds To Mars, kids do covers as well as whole family with mom and pops, Family/Band consists of; Isaiah "Ice" - 10 (youngest) drums Stacey - 12 vocals/rhythm and lead guitar Neisha - 14 lead guitar Naces - 15 (eldest) bass/keyboard Mom Sheena - vocals Dad Secan - Bass/rhythm and lead guitar/mixer/mastering

You really have to dive into the videos of Ellen Alaverdyan... recently she posted a video with the "TOP 10 METAL Bass Lines" because of a challenge from BILLY SHEEHAN: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cR33ZUy2wPM.html And not in this video but highly recommended is another young musician - and I'm not the only one who say that she is the best female singer of this century... at least... - Angelina Jordan! She started singing with 18 months, scanned the internet for jazz music since she was 3 yo, recorded her first covers with 6 yo, entered Norske Talenter (Norwegian Got Talent) with 7 yo and won it meanwhile 8yo... Since you mentioned you're a secret bass fan. BANDMAID dropped this recently. Probably the best bass solo on the planet! "The Barefoot Assassin" (Misa- Bassist) shreds her bass into tiny bits. Wanted this to be a surprise, but the thumbnail shows it. Basically Kanami and Misa do a full on "battle" for a bit less than 2 MINUTES! Epic performance, as usual, but this is next level! Very talented bunch! I also watched a cover of Hysteria from a family band (not global collab) ages 10-15. Please react also to Missioned Souls band. I reckon the siblings have no formal training. They just grow up that way with music in their veins and are now making spectacular videos for us to enjoy.
