It actually was never left out entirely. This was the very scene at the beginning of the end credits. That's cool they found a way to get it in there. I had no idea it was apart of that particular scene. All this time, 20 years. 😂
Yeah they should have totally kept this scene in. It shows a deeper disconnect between Dr. Lee, the band, and the president wanting more despite Dr. Lee’s appreciation for older classics.

Lol they mean deleted as far as the order they played it during the time Dr Lee said flight of the bumblebee it was actually the credits scene when they did this

Looking back at this movie, I noticed that nick and Sean wasn’t even playing the drums the whole time. They either tried to blend in or they were switched out with a double. This just ruins my childhood.
Why did they delete that scene??!! That’s the best drumming scene in the movie. I know they had it in the end credits but they should’ve either left it in or made that beat their 2nd response in the drum off at the end. Now when I watch that movie I rewind the credits several times just to watch that beat.
Wow and they deleted this? That reminded when I played Quads in school!! I controlled the whole band and my drum majors and band director didn’t like it at all but I had them rocking in the stands!!!!
Drum Cadence, I believe, is called "D & K The Senate" or something along those lines. You will definitely find it by searching that, though, on youtube.
This part actually not deleted this version of the movie is just hard ti find, recommend going on f movies to find the version of drumlins that has all the deleted scenes or un seen clips.
Dr. Lee was wack for not letting them battle SU in the stands! Any band director would've let their band battle the opposite band real talk! Hell I was in the marching band in high school for four years and my former band director was the best at letting the band be creative with battles against other bands and that's why today Inglewood High School Marching Band is number one in California period!
