if you noticed, the mics didn't pick up the trash cans so it stands to reason that the crowd would not be audible either. the stage mics are pointing awsy from the audience as well. To contradict myself though, the leader had to solicit the crowds involvement twice. Great performers, not so great crowd.
And THAT ladies and gentlemen is how you entertain a crowd at a show!! Very Well Done!! problem is..the crowd wouldn't know a great show if it hit em in the ass!
actually, they were clapping and cheering the entire time. Trouble is, the audio was bad. You couldn't even hear the trashcan bit in the crowd all that well.

As an entertainer myself, it's great to see a band actually put on a show. I've seen too many performers who look like they'd rather be anywhere else. Good job, fellas!
Sometime the mics are set up to get better sound from the band, but to do that you cut out most of the sound from the crowd. They probably are cheering, we just can't hear them very well.
you just need more cowbell in your life. Go to a music store and buy a few cowbells; then maybe you would cheer up and stop leaving shitty-ass comments on youtube, that I and others have to read.
I cannot stop feeling that a gooood band has the power to bring:: comedy, skills, great music and just plain old fun for every age and to have ALL that included in a show ? ?? You all give us this show that I can't stop watching.. This is what every form of entertainment could bring but I can't help but to truly think YOU GUYS GIVE EVERYONE AN "EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME"... Only happens to everyone about 5 times in our lives. This ranks up there with the word, AMAZING AND GOOSEBUMPS, THANK you.
I am an 80's rocker, a metal guitar player and a drummer (a real one - experienced and trained - not like every singer and GP who is also a "drummer" :-))....my darn point is I watch this every now and then because they SO harken to a vaudville era with INCREDIBLE musicianship and I LOVE IT!!!! Steve Moore...fricken legend. Makes me laugh every time, thing is, a lot of people underestimate his skill...too be able to play drums like he does means you have to play drums properly to be able to entertain...
Steve had me hooked the first time l saw him. He has chops, understands the music, and is a killer showman. My only claim, besides being a Vic Firth student in the early '60's, was doing gigs with North Carolina Symphony, the old Mobile Symphony, LA studio drummer, and Roger Williams' tour drummer. l have long since "retired", if there is such a thing. Steve is a true monster. Applause!
