Love drummers. Love My Mad Steve. I've watched this particular vid closing in on at least 100 times. When you can do that to me, then you are in an elite small group. I will always watch this. TY Steve for your most unique brand of skill and showmanship!!
His precision with what he does mixed with his showmanship truly puts him in a class by himself! He's one hell of a drummer!! Just simply fun to watch because you never know what he's going to do next!
@@kellyjustice404 Neil Peart from Rush is excellent drummer no doubt about. I have pictures of him from a concert. Him John Bonham, Keith Moon, Ringo Starr are by far some of the top 10 drummers of this time, of course J. Bonham RIP. I've watched countless performers and drummers and showmanship plays a great deal in ones success. The facts are showmanship will caught the eye of the viewers, like Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, and so on. I don't know if you've ever seen a live performance, I'm thinking you probably have. But if you've ever seen someone playing a guitar, singing and that's all, well they're not near as enjoyable as someone on the stage who is hoping, or down on one leg, his other straight out in front of him with his guitar playing as he's going across the stage. That's a show with entertainment.
most entertaining drummer I've seen. I always get bored with drum solos but I watched this all the way threw. That man can work a crowd. He's money in the bank.
Short of a couple of hiccups that happened, that was an absolutely excellent solo. Then throw in the theatrics and it's intensely memorable. The level of co-ordination this takes is unbelievable, and it's always a treat to watch.
@@robertkees6048 now I can see you've been in a life long struggle to get along with others. Thats not a judgment though = I recognized it because I have that issue myself. Now go to hell copycat moron! Just kidding.
Oh man! I agree! I've been watching him on and off for years and wondering, WHAT THE FUCK DUDE??? Run! Let's see what you can do on your own! He was definitely being held back!
Great drumming!!! He has a unique feel for the drums!!!!! It’s unfortunate that some people don’t understand what drumming is all about!!!?? Just like the guitar 🎸!!!! Not everyone is gonna be jamming to Hendrix or Paige “ !? When I watch someone else play music I truly appreciate the time and work that they have put into it!!!!!? Just saying y’all!!!? God bless you all today Shalom
I totally agree! Search here for (Rockcandy Live In Toronto 1988), Dave Joel puts on a great drum solo! Enjoy the music!!!!! Also Phil Collen of Def Leppard gets on stage for one song with the band. Enjoy the show!!!!!
My entire drumming career (if that's what one would call it) was spent trying to maximize. Range of motion/mobility. Keeping everything close not wasting energy to make help make it through 3 sets of music, as well as decreasing the amount of time it takes to "roll around the kit" if need be. Exactly the opposite of what Steve has mastered here and I love how he brings the drummer out front and cracks me up with some of the animated movements! Showmanship is an important part. And the dynamic changes are really cool throughout.👍
This guy is the real deal. Amazing perception. Cool as a cucumber. Talented and entertaining. I watch this lots. Presents the stick. This drummer is at the right gig here.
Thats just absolutely amazing!! Very few players have that much passion an joy when they play like steve!! Hes just having fun an it shows!! Its awesome!
He may not be as technical as others out there, but there's emotion for sure. Thomas Lang is a drum machine engineered into a human shape. Watching him is very sterile. Don't get me wrong, he is just plain insanely good, but perfect. Too perfect if you will. The thing that astonishes me most about this guy is how he's able to keep a constant sound level while doing all the thrashing around!
I'm no drummer but I can assume that in order to entertain the audience like he does by going crazy fast with his arms to going like a robot and still maintain perfect time is pretty amazing. This guy in my opinion is a top notch drummer!!!
Im no drummer but i know i right argument from wrong. this one is more right than wrong. but fuck all this.. this guy made his mark with his own style and approach .. i like that, that rock.
I'm a bass/rhythm guitarist and I have never seen a man who plays drums like goddamn ninja or jedi. My band mates call this guy the ninja drummer. We rarely see him but when we do he never fails to drop our jaws

Man they got the mics and mix absolutely perfect! Bass drum sounds like a cannon! Great clip! Mad respect for Mr Moore! Got this clip on my rock playlist! Cmon man!🤟
We all have choices and that’s why some people put a 👎 but even though we see the mad drummer, he can play drums and feckin good at that, this dude should be bigger in the world of drumming.
He at the very least brings back drumming as more than banging on a drum !! He’ll have a show in Vegas at some point... he’s also a big hit in Europe at present... Relax all the buddy rich fans... enjoy the show .. not every song had to be a jazz opus...
+Internet Keyboard Warrior I was trying for ages to find the bit that you wrote in your message but with no joy, till I realized it's his bloody name lol
