Big B is a legend for a reason. He's a star who's also a phenomenal actor. I really recommend seeing "The Last Lear" - where he portrays an old Shakespearean actor. It is one of the underrated gems of Big B's career.

Yes, you are absolutely right,sir. I learned about this film when they reacted to the trailer. Then I watched it on RU-vid . I was completely blown away by Amit ji's performance (as usual) and every time he recited Shakespeare it was like something else . I don't have words to describe how happy I was after seeing this movie. I still can't believe that so many people don't know about this masterpiece.

The dialogues and the scene were not written, Amitabh Bachchan and Amjad Kan actually made everything up as and thus the voice is not dubbed and live recorded hence the poor quality. You can actually hear the camera rolling in the scene.

This guy at the age of 77, he is very punctual, follow routines, always makes the young actors feel at home. He has never used his legend status to get out of any situation or neither did he ever used it against any directors or cast members. Even with over 50 years of experience he listens to a newbie director the way he listens to any veteran director.

Kesto Mukherjee, Rajkumar and Amitabh Bachchan. These three gem from our Bollywood, can easily pull up the drinking scene with ease. Apart from these three legends, I have not seen any actor can pull easily the drinking scene, till date. He stayed in character and acted and lastly fell down fainted... 90% of India prayed for him to recover... It was almost a dieing situation... It might interest you to know that Amitabh is a teetotaler .......! It’s a spice filled, fun film and was a runaway hit in its time ! You would enjoy watching this one ! Satte pe Satta was another really enjoyable film that was based on an old Hollywood film ‘ Seven brides for seven brothers’......his comic timing in this one was impeccable ! A must watch !

Man, Big B once told in an interview that the second one was completely improvised, all the things he said were impromptu. He was not given any dialogues or even direction by the director, just a slight idea of the purpose of the scene.

The "Angry Young Man" moniker came to him from the movie, Zanzeer, the first time. He played the role of a police officer pitted "against" another powerhouse actor off yesteryears, Pran. He did a series of movies, both as heroes and anti-heroes, like Deewar, Trishul, Don, Kala Patthar, Kalia, Agnipath which kept adding to his image as an angry, rebellious protagonist. Indeed a blessing to have seen this absolute gentleman in his heydays!! Comedy, drama, action, character roles, support roles... He's a pleasure to watch. Love him to eternity and back! ❤️

That first comedy scene....in the movie, it immediately followed the song sequence you saw earlier from AAA (My Name is Anthony), where the guy beats up a drunk Amitabh at the end of the song. In the third scene from Satte Pe Satta, the guy he was talking to was Amjad Khan (who played the main villain Gabbar Singh in SHOLAY)

Also I have a request, watch Amitabh’s legendary performance in “Inteha ho gayi, intezaar ki” from Sharaabi. That scene from Amar Akbar Anthony has a story behind it. Those days directors were directing 2 or 3 movies simultaneously and director of that movie Mr. HRISHIKESH MUKHERJEE was busy doing another shoot and he left Amitabh to direct that scene himself and told him if it didn't go well, He will direct next day. So Amitabh did that scene all on his own while also directing it. Next day when Hrishikesh sir saw that scene he just went awe at Amitabh Bachchan's acting skills and let the scene be there intact without doing it again.. He also loved that scene..

In the movie 'coolie' he was hit in the tummy n he got seriously injured, whole of India and his fans prayed for him....he supportingly took even that and forgave the supposed villain who had punch him immediately.. he is such a support...
