This is a fan reading from 懒人电台. Subtitles are from Exiled Rebel’s translations of the novel and some of my own interpretation due to the version being read being an older different version.
This one was harder than the other two mainly because of how much this chapter was edited compared to the final translated versions, not sure what some parts are either. Also currently considering if I should help subtitle the official fan meet, the translations leave a lot to be desired. Maybe.

Once I listened to the story being read as I read the English sub, I was captivated to say the least, the reader is so good and my imagination runs wild as he described the scene...ahhh! He is such a good reader...

I can't stop laughing at the chicken part xD I can understand some Chinese and the writing is so powerful it keeps tickling my mind. I love the reading!!! Full of emotions

Hmm I was going to but I just checked and it seems to be much better than previously now. Other than the occasional missed phrase I think they did a fantastic job getting the meaning across haha I don’t think there’s a need for me to do so

I watched it about a month or so ago and the sub was just.. bad.. they missed A LOT of dialogs and though we non-mandarin speaking fans are grateful to be able to watch it, it was frustrating. I haven't watched it again since. It's good to know that it's getting better. Thanks for letting me know. :)

My dad grew up in a very rural area of Rhode Island as a kid. A his friend next door was the son of a farmer. One time when he was young they we fooling around and picked all the pears on one of the three pear trees his friend's family had. Natrualy that pissed of the friend's dad and he beat both of them for it. This reminds me of that story so much and the whole time I have this nervous feeling like the will get caught.

Thank you for doing this even if I don't know the language listening to the original words (I was wondering why some translations of the same chapters have longer sentences for LWJ while others short, guess the first for it to sound more natural to the readers, while others have him saying few words now I can see for myself he really speaks that concisely!) is such a difference!

I think it just boils down to how they want to translate the characters hahaha. For example just for 闭嘴, I could translate it to “shut up” or “stop talking” or “shut your mouth” so it’s really up to the translator how they want to bring out the feel or meaning or tone so the length of his words may change in English. I hope that helps!

"Pay" in Chinese is "Pay"??????

In chinese it’s 赔 or pronounced as péi. It’s usually meaning compensation or reparations, in this case referring to the price of destroying the furniture. But since they’re using casual speaking terms I figured “pay” does a good enough job plus it coincidentally sounds like the english lol

@@redellieeldorado unfortunately YT seems to have it automatically deleted so I can’t find it anywhere even on the original channel. And the books got an official English release so all the fan translations have been scrubbed too and aren’t around anymore, sorry!

Sorry but you can’t! It’s not licensed to be officially translated to English but you can buy the book in Korean, Thai and Vietnamese and of course, Chinese.

Depends how you define lovey lol. The whole book had a lot of angst but it’s also got a lot of fluff sprinkled throughout, it’s just these chapters with the big stuff. Also there’s much more explicit R18 stuff but that’s in the extras and not the main novel chapters so the guy who read this isn’t going to cover them.

This isn't the official audiobook, it's a fan reading. However you can find the official audiobook on Ximalaya, with no eng subs either. You can get the official audio drama on MaoErFM, again no eng subs but fan subbing groups like Suibian Subs have them.
