He's called King Koopa in Japan so they used a different voice line and altered it for the international versions.

I used to play this on an emulator on the computer, and I always used the arrow keys on the keyboard, and I don't remember it being especially difficult... I guess Pekora just wasn't coordinating enough anymore lol

Alcohol basically adds input lag to your brain, so that probably doesn't help

I find arrow keys to replace the joystick painful! D: Sigh... but I was stubborn enough to at least beat the the first two Bowser forms. :p Just not sure if I'm going to beat the game, though I got close to getting all 120 stars again. :? Sigh... I swear to God there's an invisible wall glitch somewhere in the clock tower level that makes getting the 100 coin star so hard though when I have like 114 stars, it's so unfair. >_< Sigh... I'm usually good at this particular collectathon one, most of it is pretty easy for me now. :p Not sure about the others. :?

I think at that point he was only named Bowser internationally. In JP he was still King Koopa. I don’t think JP Mario 64 ever said “So long”

Bowser is called King Koopa in Japan which is why Mario always said Buh-bye in the Japanese version.
