well I had a few red lines in eyes from activities as a youth so I thought to try lumify. well after 4 days when this wore off at the end of the day my eyes would hurt and then stayed bloodshot. NOW after seeing your videos I understand much more and now starting daily warm compress and have Systane hydration PF for day and Systane complete for evenings. THANK YOU !!
I just found your channel. I suffer from extreme dry eyes, and I get sty’s constantly. My eye doctor just referred me to a dry eye specialist. I’m hoping what he gave me will help. He said to give the medicine 3 months to see if it works. He gave me Restysis and also told me to use an over the counter drop. I’m praying it works because I can’t take the sty’s anymore.
Dr. Tai, I have an unusual problem. When I close my eyes or open them, I see a tiny star in the distance floating around. It's always there and never goes away. I had an eye exam and the doctor had no idea why I see a constant little star in both eyes. And my eyes seemed ok during the exam. Do you have any theories? I googled this problem and found nothing. Eye websites only mentioned flashes, but not a constant floating star that never disappears. Could it be my third eye or pineal gland? I am a spiritual person so could that be a possibility? I heard it could be a floater, however this star is self-luminescent even while my eyes are closed, like a little star in the night sky. But a floater isn't self-luminescent right?
Can you suggest the correct treatment for Excessive Tearing of the eyes! I have Hashimotos & have had my Eyes "unblocked 3 times by my eye doctor" They get blocked again. Heated compresses, various eyedrops, Vit A has not helped me!

I can not offer medical advice on this platform. In general, Polyethylene glycol and propylene glycol are both common active ingredients used in artificial tears. They are classified by the FDA as “generally recognized as safe”. Please discuss with your eye doctor about the specific indication for your eyes. I hope this helps.
