I noticed my scalp started to get really flakey and dry when I used or ate anything with coconut in it. Once I stopped no more big break outs

I dont think it was supposed to look that bad to begin with? I'm going to a dermatologist,I think we be having more going on with our scalp then we think. Everytime, and I mean, EVERYTIME it get some braids put in, my scalp is itching at least two or three days after, that's not even that long. I'm going to have to start soaking the hair or something.

That looks like dandruff not dry scalp. Shampooing more often helps with dandruff.
