Summer fishing for wild trout with dry flies: even though the trout are small, I love this style of fishing! On this day, I fished to upper Manistee river and the "holy waters" stretch of the Au Sable River. Managed to get a few brook and brown trout to rise to size 14 Royal Trude and Elk Hair Caddis dry fly patterns, despite no real hatches. Love your videos. I've only fly fished a couple times but planning on changing that come spring since I just bought a small cabin on the Little South Branch of the Pere Marquette. It's great to see that there's ample opportunities to catch trout in the area. Keep up the great work!
