Once again - painting for 25+ years and I learned more in this video than all the classes I have taken !! Thank you so very much for making/taking the time to produce these wonderful tutorials !!!
@@DebbieColeDesigns I am here in Spain and I am restoring an ancient religious image that had lost part of a hand. This image had already been recolored a few years ago and the person who did the recoloring used a "very elaborate" dry brush technique and I was finding it impossible to copy 'the look' obtained by him using the dry brush techniques that I knew. Thanks to you (and with a lot of patience, as you say) I have finally been able to achieve a satisfactory approach. Thanks again.
I learned so much from this video. Floating has been my nemesis from the git-go with my painting. With these videos I am learning the "why" as well as the "how" and that makes it make more sense. Thanks for putting so much information into these videos and for making them available to us. Watch, learn and practice! Thank You!
What a wonderful video Debbie. Thank you for taking the time to do this for us. I love dry brushing. Your old brushes were the first I had ever used and i loved them. I think I need some more brushes.
Debbie, I learned so much! I’m a beginner and your technique is so thorough and so perfect. I love that teapot with the cup and the tea canister. Its just breathtakingly beautiful; and with all those techniques applied. Its just stunning! You have a unique and wonderful way of teaching thank you and God bless you!
I've been painting for years and so thoroughly enjoyed watching your video. The proper brush is so important! I love to paint Rosemary West and Jo Sonja and love the softness of their patterns. Thank you for taking the time to explain in detail how to improve my techniques. You can tell you love teaching.
I have learned so much from this video. Very informative, and a joy to watch as you explain the "what" you are doing and the "why" of doing it. Thank you for posting your video lessons. I have enjoyed them all, and learned so much along the way.
Wow I just happened to see a post on Facebook so clicked on the link. I've been painting for quite some time and this video really made me so excited to learn different techniques. I have struggled from time to time because I just couldn't get a shade correct or did it over and over, or sanded it down and started over. But dry brushing looks so simple (and less stressful). Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Tole painters are the best. P.S. Just ordered your brush set :)
