Debbie Cole continues her series on working with acrylic paints by demonstrating how to create this Vintage Tea Box with acrylic paint, stencils, and rubber stamps. First she shows how to create an aged background using stencils, stamps, and sponges, then she shows how to use stencils , masks, and stamps to create the bird all using acrylic paint.

Such a great project and I know the Stampendous line of stamps are pretty good quality. The Bird Blossom stamp set is such a good price b/c it also comes with the mask, which is a great help. The Vintage Letter stamp is also a good price and it's such a cool design for backgrounds on cards, etc. BTW, when I clicked the link for your mushroom sponges it took me to a red warning intro, letting me know it's not a secure site, where other's could attempt to steal information, so I wanted to give you a heads up. I love your tea box art piece, so thanks for posting your great tutorial, Debbie!

I worked for Stampednous for three years and during that time helped them develop their Stamp N Paint program. It is amazing what great tools stamps are for painting!

I absolutely love this piece! Just awesome tutorial! I have the Martha Stewart pouncers. Would they work like the mushrooms? I am new to mixed media so have lots to learn. I think your artwork is beautiful & love your style! I downloaded the project from your website and am excited to try it. Can't wait for more vids! Thanks so much for sharing! About how long does it take to get products from your website?

The pouncers are smaller and have more of a dome shape to them. The mushroom sponges are flat. In regard to products from my website... I try to ship them within a few days. The sponges are sent first class mail.

You can try the pouncers to see if they work. I have not used them. I know that they have a curved top to them and the sponges are flat. I am so glad that you are enjoying my videos!

Wish I lived in the states then I would be able to get this pattern I live in Cyprus and theres no outlet here to buy your patterns and none on your site to download this free pattern....
