Hi Josh. Nice update and feedback, much appreciated. What I find is that the luggage weight and setup, steers and controls the handling on most small bikes like the DRZed, KLR and the EXC range of bikes. Bikes are overloaded if you work out percentage to weight ratio. On large adventure bikes this seems to balance out. On your last trip while climbing the up hills your front suspension looked like a pogo stick. I know it is difficult to have a suspension setup for solo riding without luggage and a setup with full luggage setup.
Good to see youre happy with the upgrade best thing ive done to mine hands down different bike,where you'd normally be grabing handfuls of brake its the opposite just more throttle
The XT is a great unit and is excellent value for money. I wouldn’t waste your money on the XT2 as it doesn’t offer anything special above the original XT. 👍
