Repeatedly gets baited to mash his 360 like 3 times in a row since he keeps doing his "parry then mash SPD"-pattern. Totally didn't outplay him though. It's just the game is bad and dumb that DSP doesn't have an answer that covers all options on defense and that they can figure him out and punish him.
My IRL buddy ended up fighting him, I was sooo mad but happy for him. He gets lucky finding and fighting celeb FGC people, but I know he won the set against Phil.
Phil few days ago after Diaphone's video: "It's not the game, it's me! Stop saying that!" Also Phil on the same day: "THIS GAME IS SOOOO BAD! THIS IS TRASH!"
@@user-hg1ov9rt4s If you use classic and lose to a character who has half their skill set gone and a flat out -20% damage nerf then you should get better. If modern was so OP everyone would be using modern
@@AstroBimpson lmaooo right!!! I mean at this point one would have to pull off infinite combo's using only his left testicle in order to "outplay" dsp..
"HOW DOES EVERYONE IMMEDIATELY GET DRIVE IMPACT ON REACTION?" You mean that thing with the half second startup and big flashy effects? A true mystery to man Philburt, a true mystery to man.
Not only that but he's playing higher rank players who will just know it by reaction, there is also the fact that the more people play a game like SF6 the "slower" it will feel as you get used to the speed so someone really in the zone is gonna see that DR for even longer than usual.
Oh hey! I am the Guile in this video. Oh shit waddup! 😂. That 1st match. I thought Mr.Pro Fighting Game player would punish my sweep but I guess not. Imagine that. Yes Phil. Hello I meant to do that DR into Super! You were smashing Condor Spire like a crack fiend and I know I was gonna catch you slipping. I was happy cause thats my first few attempts landing DR into Super Combo on Pad. That shit is tough!! Hope y'all enjoyed the goofy af 3 grab into KO combo. I know I did 😂. Go home and be family man Philip!
Meanwhile his own gameplay if anything is unimpressive. Watched him blunder his kill combos over and over, drop everything, wake up mashing overheads, jump jab like every single match since mr pro player who's been playing these games for decades can't do a 360 correctly.
@@innocentorphan1213isn't this the same guy who went like 0-13 against another streamer who proceeded to say "You'd think he's never played Street Fighter before" while Phil blamed the whole thing entirely on Jamie being overpowered and completely safe?
He knows nothing about frame data. He doesn't know each move has different frames and jabs are the fastest move. He mashes buttons when he is -frame and that's why he always complains about his opponent's moves being safe, they always counter his moves and his moves don't come out. He is really a scurb. For a guy claims himself a pro, but knows nothing about how fighting games work in terms of frame data just proves that he is a fraud.
Haven't watched any of the video yet, but. The game or controller dropped his inputs, he couldn't do nothing. Or he didn't do anything....it not his fault...
@serv-on lol you see my friend what you call foresight I call the scrubby man baby Disease!! (Smbd)..if you will... I'm currently studying this Specimen along with Ltg, In hope of developing a cure!!!
I don’t quite understand. Isn’t losing proof in and of itself that you have been “outplayed”? How can DSP lose and yet claim he wasn’t outplayed? How does that work? Does he think they won by coin toss?
I like posting this now as more people should see it but it's rumored David Sirlin is talking about Phil here - "I once played a scrub who was actually quite good. That is, he knew the rules of the game well, he knew the character matchups well, and he knew what to do in most situations. But his web of mental rules kept him from truly playing to win. He cried cheap as I beat him with “no skill moves” while he performed many difficult dragon punches. He cried cheap when I threw him five times in a row asking, “Is that all you know how to do? Throw?” I gave him the best advice he could ever hear. I told him, “Play to win, not to do ‘difficult moves.’” This was a big moment in that scrub’s life. He could either ignore his losses and continue living in his mental prison or analyze why he lost, shed his rules, and reach the next level of play."
Aaaahm - a pro player, because the game is just stupid for giving his opponents all the plus moves and prevents the pro player, who over all couldn‘t do anything, from blocking!?! Ts, what kind of question is this even..
"HE CAN DASH CANCEL AND THEN IMMEDIATELY DO ANOTHER MOVE" ayo someone wanna ask him what he thinks cancelling means? watching him throw out DI for no reason and then being shocked that it's countered is too funny, good upload lmao
I love how Phil hates when people "guess" and it works in their favor. Sometimes it be like that in a fighter game Phil. The fact they capitalize on that shows they know what to do too! Also he really treats this as Super Turbo where he think it's all one hit into a 3 hit combo or something.
"How does everyone always counter my Drive Impact?!" Unlike you, Phil, they actually practiced the timing and became even more efficient players as a result.
Nope it's because he "Unpredictability" uses it in neutral 5 times a round like Lily doesn't have access to some oppressive mid range buttons. The sad thing is he's probably robbed so many people on his way up the ranks doing that.
I wonder just how much of an appetite Phil's audience has for these SF6 streams. They're all so same-y to the point of being indiscernible. The complaint Phil hears most about his streams is that they're boring. Phil attributes that to the game when he should attribute that it himself.
Its amazing that he doesn't see the irony in how ALL the "character imbalance" and "lag" are somehow ALWAYS stacked against HIM (with his amazing business speed internet)
Instead of trying to learn, he gets salty and straight up toxic. If this game wasn't filled with people that are new to the genre, he would get bodied 24/7.
You'd think that because he was apparently good during the sf2 era, he'd be able to evolve with the new systems in this game. Apparently not. Also, Modern players lose a LOT of good standard moves so a lot of characters have a huge disadvantage in footsies. If DSP is as good as he thinks himself to be, he'd be able to take on modern players with no problem. I bet that if a modern player beat DSP using just jabs and light kicks, he'd still blame them for being a modern player.
His complaints about his moves getting "stuffed" let's me know all I need to know about his knowledge of the game he's playing, which is minimal. He can tell you how he got beat in detail after the match, but can't figure out how not to get beat while he's in a match. And how did he NOT know he was in burnout at 11:25!? 🤔 You can't make this shit up, lol
For a "normal" person I love him getting salty. I got into fighterz, and I'm relatively good at it. To the point the person who got me into it refuses to play me as he can't beat me. Doing the ranking grind was annoying and once you reach the wall where it's just your own failures and shortcomings holding you back it really got to me. Bear in mind I'm learning challenged and have ADHD but the salt and rage would dwarf philberts. Used to punch myself like a spaz. I recognized this as an issue and stopped playing and took solace that I climbed the ladder X amount. Why does a non mentally deficient (apart from stupidity) person choose to put himself and his audience through the constant bitching. It's because he knows that's the only reason he's still somewhat relevant. Feel sorry for most streamers that fall into that trap, except for Phil, as fuck phil
“He can dash cancel and immediately do another move.” Well, yea Philburt. That’s generally how dash cancels always work… quit getting faked out 😂 Also, wtf is a guess pattern. He just angrily makes nonsensical shit up all the time
He picked it for the most part, and platinum in this game is STUPID easy to get Also, he played since day 1 farm scrubs whose first fighting game is this
DSP has the most integrity ever: he clearly knows and understands how everyone beats him by abusing spam and yet never can do that himself. What a man!
I don't think he realizes that a lot of people are playing on pad. They usually have DI macroed to a shoulder button, with a finger always resting on it. It's not hard to react to a DI, especially the ones he seems to throw out
@@serv-on arcade stick definitely makes Phil worse, because it gives him the ability to mash 20 inputs per second, which is why he always squeals about the game becoming sentient and doing shit on its own 😭 I think if he used a controller he'd be forced to stop having epileptic fits on the stick
Unironically yes, most fighting games are. DSP doesn't really understand turns though. His turn was after she canceled into fireball store. But he kept mashing and jumping like a monkey since he has no patience or defense and is scared shitless in the corner, so he just melts while crying how he can't do anything because he can't mash throws and DPs nonstop like it's Super Turbo.
@@innocentorphan1213 what he said made me think he was talking about that turned based one piece game. Even though sf6 isn't like that. It's free flowing. You can attack as much as you want and it's not like I hit you, now I have to stop so you can go next and get your turn to attack.
@@speedbeyondlogic There is a term of "turns" in fighting games though, generally it means when you've done some blockstring and put yourself in a minus situation and the opponent can now attack instead, since anything they press has priority. You can challenge that with something like a DP or mashing buttons when you're negative, but it's usually not a good idea. In a nutshell it's their turn to pressure you instead, so that no on gets to have infinite pressure. I don't think DSP comprehends turns at all though, since he generally plays like it's ALWAYS his turn. He doesn't know frame data and he doesn't care anyway, hence why he's always mashing. So when he's getting pressured and eating frametraps over and over, this is what we get, him crying how he can't do anything and "when is it my turn".
@@innocentorphan1213 yeah you can at least do something even if it's ill-advised. But from what he was saying my impression when you have to actually wait your turn after you attack so your opponent can attack next and you can't do anything until it's your turn. Sf6 it's not like you have to actually wait until your opponent attacks before you can do the same. Even though you can if you want to. You're free to keep attacking if you want and feel like it or to wait until after the opponent attacks. You have freedom to do whatever. As opposed to having no choice but to wait after you attack so your opponent can attack next. I don't mean to repeat myself if I'm doing that.
Lol watching DSP mock the Zangief player then get his ass handed to him was hilarious. What a weird statement "it's not fun to lose when you know what to do". Implying he thinks he should never lose because he knows how to play the game. Yeah thats not how it works my guy, did it ever occur to him the person he might be playing might also "know what to do".
That final rant is wild. It's like he thinks fighting games are a puzzle boss where he just needs to do A to beat B and it should work every time with no recourse from the opponent. That's not what fighting games are piggy, you don't just get to pattern play your way to win screens. I know you're trying to do just that, but sadly the games have evolved quite a bit since your bingo hall 5 player "tournaments" from 25y ago.
I was wondering when DSP will finally touch the Solo mode, I wonder how bad he will get bodied since he'll prolly avoid fights to level up and then get beaten by overleveled enemies (tho I don't have SF6 so I dunno how the WT is in term of difficulty). You know with Rachid coming I can see him being overly salty when people will play him.
_>"Why do characters have ways to beat what's supposed to be your anti-air?"_ Simple: *The game no longer has MOVE PRIORITIES -- any move beats any, unless its one of the rare moves that have invincibility (Ryu's EX uppercut, for example).* That's why there are so many hit clashes, and why the game is so mash and rush-down happy -- because there is little risk that people can beat a 50-50 DR mix-up on reaction with tools that predominantly have no priority.
Lily's crouching heavy punch is legit a very inconsistent anti air but it's also one that if she lands it one it's the most rewarding. It needs more active frames early in the animation Ryu's jump in heavy kick blows it up regularly.
LTG and DSP are basically the same person, but DSP is more annoying to me by virtue of being a big crybaby. The entire time he WHINES, which is far less funny than LTG's indignant raging.
"You do a weird floating move that beats everything I do" Cammys only had Hooligan Rush for... 10, maybe 15 yrs now. Hardly any time to learn it, cahm ohn guys
I love it how hes complaining about someone using modern controls on a character with charge moves, that dude is literally kneecapping himself with that lmao
DSP Then: Well I've always been for More People getting into Fighting Games. Look I've said it before I don't need the FGC. They're in this Weird 'Bubble' and they've never Really respected me despite where I've HISTORICALLY PLACED. And they just pretend 'Oh That didn't happen' when it fucking did! DSP Now: 0:00
Its legit disgusting to watch him play, ESPECIALLY with lily, he just spams condor mixup and command grab, its 98% of his offense on that character yet he wants to complain about having to guess or other people pattern playing, like bro you are the worst form of what youre complaining about. Command grab some more reject.
I think it's funny when DSP claims he can't beat an opponent because it's a "guessing game". My dude, every fighting game is a guessing game. That's quite literally the point of being good at fighting games: Guessing correctly.
Kat is downstairs strumming her banjo to the sounds of burpell shouting "mehsh jehb! Mehsh jehb!". How does anyone tolerate this man baby's constant crying noise?
12:43 idk who is phil trying to fool, saying he DI on reaction to one that was done like 2 frames earlier. But of course he did everything right , the game/ the opponent is the problem
I mean, at least he's using one of the game's weaker characters and losing. LTG uses the most busted characters in the game, gets rekt, moans about it.
Sf6 is waaaayyy more than 1 button dps or specials you still gotta tech you still gotta play footsies and if you want optimal combos it's not as easy as pressing 1 button if you lose to modern it's because he's better
Complaining about Kens mashing dragon punch online is the dumbest shit because all you have to do is hold block. You know the Ken is going to do it so stop hitting buttons and take your free punish combo for more damage than the DP would have done.
