Hey guys, I'm the dhalsim in the vid DjuriUnbrained! Shameless plug that I stream on twitch Wednesdays 4-7, I have juri and dhalsim in master and am practicing for an offline event in Nov swing by
The sad thing is that SF6's ranking system is a complete joke. Anyone can get master if they play enough. All the higher ranks are full of scrubby players who would never get that high in a real ranking system which makes it even easier to rank up. It's like flipping a coin each match to see if you face someone who actually belongs there or if you are just going to get free points. But Phil thinks he's actually skilled and all these players are beneath him.
The dude started trash-talking honda days before he hit master with him. He primed the excuse so he doesn't have to defend the rank against other masters. I mean, he straight up bought a new copy of the game for blanka, lol.
For someone that claims he knows the fundamentals of fighting games he cant really grasp the very basic fact that while one character can be overpowered there isnt a single character that cant be beat by any character that is played well. Its not like a total beginner can use Ken and win against a pro player using Lily.
@@averagejackmedia609thats just a reach now, he didnt buy the game again cus of Blanka, you can make a new free Xbox account and use the same copy of the game no problem, he bought SF6 again cus hes a dumbass
@@TheZodiacRipperWell said. He is extremely biased. He picks lily is becsuse liliy doesn't require any execution. He doesn't have execution skills and he can't even play top tiers like luke, ken, juri...etc. He knew that, but he tries to hide it and pretends like it's not his execution problem. 😂
@@jkdman2007 Yeah we all saw what happened when he played Luke in casual. The same guy also claimed that Blanka couldnt beat Guile and that he never seen anyone do it while there are several videos of Blanka beating Guile.
Oh no, DSP figured it out. Since 2010 game devs have been specifically putting in code that not only recognizes when he plays online but also won't allow him to do anything. Even the directional inputs that change, to spice things up, when the opponent flips over his character no longer eludes his masterful mind. Developers, we can rebuild it. We have the technology. We have the capability to make the world's first combat game that will truly defeat DSP.
@@UNIRockLIVE it's a fighting game man it just boggles my mind. The whole point of being good at them is being able to anticipate what's coming. If someone's just doing a pattern it's literally an easy counter. It just boggles my mind
DSP is what happens when for 15 years you have nothing but one sided conversations that you control the narrative, you control the subject matter, you control the questions you ask yourself, you control what you explain & how you explain it, and for 15 years you demand others to never challenge you on the accuracy of what you say or else you disappear into the void tk never be heard from again. His confidence in everything that comes of his mouth regarding how “right” & “correct” he is, is off the charts. He knows he can literally say anything he wants. Make any excuse he wants no matter how batshit insane or completely & absolutely unreasonable, illogical & blatantly wrong he is. He is king in his world. He is never wrong. And he truly believes this at this point.
His view on reality is also skewed. He knows he is lying when he does, yet in his world its okay, it's not wrong to lie. Can't explain how he sees it, but when he blatantly lies about stupid things in the videogame, he doesnt see it as wrong or stupid. A normal person would know they just lied, and their conscience would remind them constantly, but imagine how many lies he spin in a session of Street Fighter... I think he has completely overloaded his conscience to the point of it simply.... dying?
This makes so much sense, never thought of it like this before but you are so right. He has no outside influence, that he can't just ban, to tell him he is wrong. His wife is more or less a lodger he interacts with once a week on his "day off" and even then he finds something to complain about, but then again she probably likes it that way, Phil grinding away and snorting on you can't be a pleasant experience...."No Kat you are just mashing a pattern you have no skill, I am countering her moves but somehow she isn't getting off on it, this sex is broken." SNORT. Surely there must be some sort of life span to what he is doing or are his subs going to listen to some 70 year old man complain about how the games are broken.
Very well said. And all of that became blatantly obvious during the Sidescrollers interview. That was the one time in SO long where he was in an environment where he didn't have that degree of control. He couldn't just ban Craig and Adam for saying something that calls him out. He couldn't just spout bullshit and act like he's objectively right. All he could do is sit there and lie, lie, lie and get called out for all of it.
"It's trash gameplay." 100% correct, Philby. It fits right in with the rest of your 1,000+ trash gameplay videos you upload a year. I don't know why you have to keep uploading evidence of your skill though.
10:40 Incase anyones too lazy to look it up The Superchat is right, 100 Argentine Pesos is 29 cents USD. "Nothing I could do Dood. Stoopid RU-vid bugged out on me"
"I'm playing the worst character in the game doods," he says that like he's a martyr falling on a sword.. instead of a premeditated scape goat of an excuse for when he fails. Its always when he gets close to master rank.. just so he can ditch the character the second he reaches rank.
Yeah, superchat colors have regional pricing. For ARS it's 1000 for a red superchat which is just 2.85 USD, for my currency (RSD) it's 5000 for a red superchat which is just under 10 USD
My favorite parts, are when he readies his excuse before it happens, and then it actually works. "Couldn't block" while he is actually blocking. Phil will never be held accountable. Even if the proof is rght in front of his face, it's 100% a lie dood
Since phil doesn’t know how to convert currency someone should send him like 1 million zimbabwean dollars to trick him into thinking hes rich or something
Pigroach: Whoa! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Chat! Hold on! I have an announcement to make! I've just received 1000... Z$? The hell? Zombie dollars? ACK ACK ACK. Let me check... Nah. Nevermind. It's roughly $3. Whoever send me this, seriously, f*ck you. In fact, I gonna ban you too. *does racist joke*"
And that’s just more proof that he says whatever he wants no matter how crazy, absurd or inaccurate it is. What’s the wrist that can happen when he just lies like that? In the absolutely unlikely hood that someone in chat challenges him, he just bans them problem solved.
"Yellow means 10 dollars or more" He really doesnt understand currency conversions and that the superchat colors mean different things in different places.
7:05 That move isnt Super-cancable. 8:14 He must have done the inputs THAT SLOW, If u cancel it to super after a drive rush, the move needs to be done before the last hit of the animation, and it comes out instantly 9:13 Mashing buttons? That move is a charge move, It's litteraly IMPOSSIBLE to mash that move.. Im gonna stop, this is killing me
He's a gold mine of delusion in these videos. My favorite is when he complains about the kimberly doing an overhead when he keeps blocking low on wakeup or trying to do a basic move to beat it like he doesn't understand the concept that his opponent has the advantage there. And in that we can see why he's so bad at MK because he can't react to high/low mixups. And he complains that he couldnt deal with it because NO ONE uses that move which inadvertently means that he can't adapt within a match to what the opponent is doing even when the solution is obvious.
You cannot "mash throw". If you do, a throw animations comes out and is very punishable. I mean, just kidding. Buggy online pattern inputs man. Dsp did nothing wrong
If I had to guess why he was playing a known low tier, I'd say brownie points for getting one to Master. Getting one there is one thing. Proving you're worthy is another, and he's refused to continue playing his "Master Rank" Blanka and Honda because they're part of his worthless trophy case.
phils playstyle doesnt really matter. as long as there's a lunge move he's going to be the same. he's horrible at combos. he has zero footsies. he relies on the few things that can basically be done with any character.
No matter what connection I get I have the awareness of knowing that I dropped my combo and it's totally my fault. The difference is I don't spiral into victimhood and I fix the problem to get a win.
Why does Capcom consistently program the game so that DSP's moves drop, all his opponents have all their moves adjusted to plus on block, and give him lag? They are really trying to keep a pro tier player from the hallowed halls of master rank, the highest accolade that the game can and will ever offer.
My favourite recent delusion is Phil thinking that a characters tier is determined by how his made up netcode favours certain characters, and not by frame data, tools, damage, etc. That or Capcom actively monitors tier lists and changes their netcode to favour them.
@@cking509 yeah he had full resources and could have just blocked and reacted with DI if the DI came. Or even use drive reversal on the blocked normal, or he could OD Anti Air during the drive rush. Instead the opponent predicted air threw him twice, conditioning him to stay on the ground and get thrown again, followed by another air throw . That’s all credit to the Chun Li player.
At :32, he claims Manon recovered instantly , actually the axe kick is minus 9 on block which is unsafe . He was mashing low jab and therefore got spaced trapped.
Why pick low tier if you are just going to cry about playing a low tier character? Also, a lot of the things that happened wasn't because you were Lily and aren't Lily specific.
He always complains that he doesn't have a reversal but he wastes level 1 super off jab religiously. Imagine wasting your only reversal option because you only know jab x3 into super1 to get half decent combo damage. Then he cries that someone actually waits for a nice opportunity for a level 3 conversion...."nothing I can do!!! Giant damage off one medium kick!!!"
5:17 "The moment you are in the corner you cant do anything . She either gets a random perfect parry or a random level 1 super and thats it. She has nothing to get out of the corner" But a drive parry can be followed by a drive reversal right? So what is the the difference between a parry/reversal and a drive parry/drive reversal? Cant a parry be followed up by a regular reversal? Which in Lily´s case is the cross hammer right?
Dude's textbook example of worst kind of toxic players, constantly harping how he's playing low tier boo hoo life is so hard, and if he wins he gloats how he won with a low tier dood, wow dood, yikes. 41 years old and behaves like this still. Can't help but wonder why the fgc hated him so unfairly back in the day.
Phil is the fighting game equivalent of that dude we all know, who one time in high school 30 years ago, had 4 TDs in a game, but literally never did anything else, but still won't shut up about it
gotta love how phil truly believes that the game arbitrarily decides to not read his inputs or give him something different instead. as if the devs actually programmed an rng system where every input has a chance to be randomized. not only that, but it happens very often for phil and only him, to the point he never even wonders if other people experience the same things and/or aren't subjected to the same randomized system, which gives him an unfair handicap while the rest of the world seems to never experience it and he doesn't even seem to think how weird all this is and how the simplest explanation is that he sucks and misses his inputs because he's tilted. nope, definetly the game's fault, the connections of everybody are terrible despite other players never showing signs of laggy gameplay affecting them and could also be his joystick. not him, of course
Mr former pro fighting game player falls for Deejay bait "I tried to punish his whiff but he recovered" or cross-ups "I never do forward fierce, I was blocking"
I love the little moments where DSP has the excuse queued up on why he couldn’t block and he ends up blocking it, surprising himself and everyone else 😂 Also how do you “mash” a charge move??
So let me get this straight, if DSP does a wake up super it's a well thought out reversal but if the opponent does a wake up super its a lucky spamming guess?
10:24 since no one pointed this out the super chat guy is right 20 ARS which is Argentinas currency is literally 5 cents or 0.057 USD and 100ARS is 0.29 cents which mean DSP ain't getting JACK out of that trolls donation and is colorblind by the dollar signs.
10:24 "He doesn't know what he's talking about. He's sending me a ton..." 100 Argentinian Pesos converts to 50 cents in the United States. You can literally Google it and it takes 2 seconds. DSP actually thinks he knows ARS to USD conversion better than the person living in that country. DSP is the reason why women shouldn't smoke while they're pregnant.
"Couldn't block. Oh did block! Now I can't block" this dude really keeps one in the chamber at all times doesn't he? Also the whole "i cant react to that" and "wow random neutral jump" should reveal a big part of his problem. Reacting is good, but predictions and anticipation have always been an important aspect of fighting games with a MUCH faster execution than simply gambling on your ability to react perfectly each and every time. Then he gets mad when the pattern player sees how he tries to react to the pattern and punishes accordingly. He is the entire circus
I can't imagine playing fighting games for 15+ years, only to be slightly above average. Imagine working the same job for 15 years, but half the new hires can do it better. Embarrassing.
I don’t like this sideways fighting games, but I gotta say it’s an absolute skill the abuse Phil is able to take, only to say the opposite of what’s going on
Dsp is probly the highest rated player ever, if it wasnt for missed inputs, horrible matchups, lag, and his stoik personality picking really bad champions to give him a challenge.
At 27:56, he complains about Chun Li mashing, when right before that Chun Li continued blocking correctly after the torpedo move put DSP at frame advantage, DSP went for a button the first time, then went for a throw the second time, that’s how he got beat by ex reversal. DSP didn’t make a bad decision by going for an attack…the opponent made a better decision going for an ex reversal when DSP has no life left.
Is he still using that 300-dollar fightstick? Maybe if you'd stop abusing it, your inputs would register in this mythical being known as the input reader. No clue what he's on with that, but go off. Enjoy the journey to Legend. *Snort*
26:39, ex up kicks beat buttons or throw attempts, DSP will never just block. And he was burned out and has frame disadvantage which means he should have blocked.
that money convert had me genuinely curious. I did a quick google search after pausing and guys... thats 29 cents currently as of writing. Homie thinks he got one up on the Argentine boys when they have the highest troll potential out of all of us for pennies on the dollar.
So in case your not paying attention, Lily is the worst character in the game.. literally every other character except lily is a "top tier" character.. and there was NOTHING Phil could have done to win any of these fights because "the netcode is trash"... ALSO phil, 100 ARS (Argentinian Pesos) is 29 US Cents.. not 10+ USD LOL he's so angry he's just making stuff up
