I want to draw attention to the start of this video. Whenever Philly is sitting on 800-1000 members and he has that guaranteed fat stack paycheck coming in he's CONSTANTLY all like TIPS I NEED TIPS I MUST HAVE TIPS TIPS DOODS TIP REE TIPS ARE MY BUSINESS LIQUIDITY TIPS FOR MUH BILLS SNORT but the literal 'moment' his artificial boosted memberships from a whale drop again he's immediately FORGET TIPS DOODS MEMBERSHIPS I MUST HAVE MEMBERSHIPS DOODS GIFT MEMBERSHIPS etc etc etc He's so transparent.
Phil doesn’t understand that some moves have startup. The counter hit comes out because his opponent is doing a move that comes out faster than his move I don’t play fighting games and even I understand that.
Ehhhhhh, things like that one counter where the Luke hit him after he whiffed the fireball (the "instant recover") where he should have absolutely not been able to and won the round because of it......that's the type of shit that ensures that even if really liked fighting games that I would NEVER play them online. Random stupid bullshit like that just makes it nearly pointless.
Eh no. On SF it's common sense that you shouldn't jump a fireball because opponent recover fast enough to anti air you. How can you say "they should have absolutely not been able to" when you don't even know the properties of the move and just talking out of your ass. How is it random when most high level players know that fact?
"Random drive impact and you can't do anything about it". Drive impact is so easy to counter. Throw. That's the easiest and most effective counter. Just throw when the enemy drive impacts and you will almost always counter it. HE'S EVEN USING ZANGEIF!!!!
Phil doesn't want to play this game competitively but he expects to win 100% of the matches? How does that work out.... He should be labbing with the character between sets instead of just expecting to be a master after 20 minutes.
This coming from the guy who will claim a "jab jab jab level 3 super" is "outplaying" them. He legit said "thinking Gief vs Flowchart Ken" yet he still lost.
@@torchlight1785 I laughed my ass off when he said that. It says a lot about Phil that he thinks he's putting all this mental acuity into the game and no one that beats him is doing the same.
Not even. He's bronze there too. He's been using the same 3-4 excuses for decades. "Laggy online pattern" "I couldn't blahhck" "I didn't do anything" His excuse game is almost more predictable than his trash gameplay
Nah his excuses are terrible, he just makes a ton of them. Deejay jumps over him to put himself in the corner and DSP's like "Omg nothing I can do about that!" Like he can't just block on wake up and then be at an advantage because the Deejay put himself in the corner...
My Favorite in this video. "You didn't outplay me, you just kept doing this crossssover...........dude you didn't outplay me, you just did the SAME thing 17 times, and I don't know how to get around that one thing....." Good job Phil.
He'll still guilt trip the chairs into "funding" a new fight stick. Guy has zero shame. Tard rages and then blames others for why his stuff doesn't work.
High quality sticks are made with arcade quality parts that were built to last being smashed on by kids all day every day for years. It is incredibly hard to break a decent arcade stick.
@@dontworryaboutit5490 Street Fighter 6 has increase it by 10 fold he hasn't went off like these compared to any game since last year, the only one that comes close was scorne
@@Milliondollarcuphis js what happens every time a new street fighter comes out. They always make him 10 times salter because each time he loses he can feel his 1st place in America Evo placing slip away from him.
@@GodsDissapointmentyou simply can't be a consistent pro player with DSP's attitude. Real pros learn and improve on their mistakes but DSP blames everything else except himself, so he will always lose in the long run. No amount of mechanical skill can offset his stunted development
10:00 so DSP didn't follow the advice of taking a minute to cool down between matches. and the game loads so fast that he's usually still complaining about the previous loss as the next match starts 😂.
"You didn't outplay me you just kept crossing over and I couldn't stop it" That sounds like you really got outplayed Edit: all that salt from the Modern Manon was delicious.
I love that DSP’s go to excuse it “they’re doing safe stuff from mid screen” Every single one of these montages, he’s literally mad that the other players know how to poke and play neutral correctly lmfao
4:10 Okay, here's a free tip. Zangief's drive impact doesn't magically triple in range because you're fighting Dhalsim, nor will it when you mash it out.
All of them. Just because you tip doesn't mean you can just stop gifting memberships. But any way of support is appreciated, he's just making a factual observation, he's not gonna ask or harp on it, any form of support is appreciated, just saying that IF you were to choose a method out of your own choice, memberships would be most appreciated. No asking for it, tho. And btw, remember that he does this for a living, so if you don't contribute then he's screwed and can't continue making meaningful content. But the content is free, tho
Phil was a pro just like that Donkey Kong guy Billy Mitchell. What year was that Evo Phil got 3rd place in? The 90's? As in before the pro scene was established. All I see is a mid 40's guy who's pissed his button mashing/reflexes aren't as effective as they were when he was 15...
@@TheDevilockedzombie Not specific to SF6 (most fighting games have it), but matchmaking while in training mode lets you practice, warm up, and whatnot between match downtimes and this can be useful for practicing against stuff that just encountered with in a match to get familiar with it
@@mocaff2382 Ah gotcha. Makes sense Pigroach wouldnt want to get better. Way easier to just yell blatant lies about dropped inputs and the other person "getting lucky."
@@TheDevilockedzombie This is the same person who in the open betas went into online matches without ever going to training to understand the mechanics
Yeah, practice is everything. I even sent a friend request to a JP i fought with Ken. Man he slapped me crazy. Bloke was happy enough to make a custom room and invite me cause he enjoyed our matches. We must of played like 10 matches after that, within which I was able to learn a lot from his mechanics and won 1 or 2 of them as well. Such GGs. Literally practicing against what you just played. You can also, after a match, opt to play with the other person right away to practice as well. And there is also a practice against just matched up character option. I mean, how much more can the game do to hint to someone to practice? LoL. Phlipburger didn't get the memo though it seems. Ps, prac is also great for blowing off some steam. Sit there and do your combos to get it out of your system. lol.
DSP is the greatest psychic in excistense. Somehow he always knows what his opponents are thinking, how they obviously didn't plan or time anything and are just hitting random moves... though curiously his psychic abilities only work afterwards he got his ass beat.
Yeah I'm like this is a retarded cope for many reasons, 1st of all how can you read your opponents minds to know whether they planned to perform those moves or just mashed them out randomly? 2nd if you're losing to those "random" or "mashed out" moves, doesn't that just make you a total scrub? 3rd, apparently this doesn't apply to Phil as he is the "thinking" player who always plans his moves and uses strategy. 4th if true shouldn't you be able to pick those characters and do the exact same thing?...
"It's not my fightstick" Literally every single fighting game he ever played has been full of wrong/ghost/no inputs issues... Guess we've finally found the culprit...
Make no mistake it's all about Phil the world revolves around and his own bubble 💭 he doesn't care about you you don't care about any of you as long as the money is rolling in he's happy don't you all ever forget that
Didn't he relatively recently say that tips are preferred over other forms of donations? Now he's going on about how superchats are now more important. He is just addicted to complaining.
And because begging does make dents contribute, so all fields need to be covered. Tips are his "tonight pulls" funds, while superchats are his "next event pulls" funds
The theory that makes the most sense to me is he has gotten used to spending his monthly RU-vid check to pay all his bills. If superchats and memberships go lower than they were in previous months, he has to save some Tips money to help pay the bills, and he doesn't have enough self control to do that.
HE HAS ALWAYS SAID THAT, "please tip me i need money now" "thank you for the memberships but guys i cant get that money until the end of the month" now they tip him and he wants the monthly check bigger now LMFAO, its actually insane how entitled he feels to get money from his "fans"
it would actually be better for him to get memberships cuz clearly he cant fucking control his spending habits throughout the month, if he gets the fast donation money hes gonna burn through it which is why hes begging for more memberships so he can keep burning thru those donations
If tips are great, and you can see a dip in your RU-vid cheque, why not be a real adult and budget? He really uses the YT payment to cover his bills and the tips are his WWEC money
Always with the "it dropped my input! I didnt want to do that!" when even literal children know this means either your controller is broken or you are lying. Phil literally thinks hes pushing x and the game is giving him y to screw him over 😂😂😂
I think the worst part about this guy is that he genuinely seems like a normal streamer at first. And then something goes wrong, or he loses in the game due to his own mistakes.
When does he seem like a normal streamer? Because no normal streamer has daily 1.5 hour "pahdcast" where he vents about his drama, day off, schedule and trolls.
@@Abedeuss he seems like a normal streamer when he's just playing the game. He makes forced commentary and just talks. Like I said, the problem starts the moment anything even remotely inconvenient happens.
Tbh never seen any of his streams. And I don't plan to. Its like feeding trolls. I am baffled as to who follows him and if they are just lowkey enjoying him break down and support him only to prolong this experience lol. Think the same might be true for LTG too 😆
The beginning beg came RIGHT after a $50 tip from Lisa Lou, literally acted like it was nothing. Commented on it and he went right to the comment after mine 😂
I seriously dont understand his logic. "You didnt out play me you just used moves i didnt know how to counter" thats like saying "he didnt out drive me i just dont know how to drive a manual"
Dude DSP is the literal definition of “Never quit your day job” like this guy guilt trips his audience so hard if they don’t donate enough money to him
15:15 The way he takes his hands off the stick and looks down. Like what is that supposed to mean to anyone? We can't see your freaking controller, but I'm willing to bet you didn't to it.
Shoutouts to that Deejay. Man was vibing to the beat and just having a blast. While Phil's was out of tune and flailing like manchild. Deejay was squeezing the beat! Ack Ack Ack! Squeeze The Beat 🎶
27:45 It's extremely brief, but there is a frame or two where Luke is back in neutral after the fire ball, and it's about 30 frame of lag on Luke's part and he has super armor on the upper cut. That means that's an intended set up. DSP got baited. If you need any more proof, counter hit is visible right under Phil while he's squealing.
@@naterivers6107 super armor means you can still get hit and you still take damage, but you're not interrupted from completing your attack. EX uppercuts are invulnerable, so you literally can't be hit during them
@@naterivers6107 That is not what super armor means, super armor means you still take damage. If Luke's DP was super armor and not invul, he would've died there.
"You can't have fun trying to play your game, you have to wait for them to fuck up." So in other words, you have to play Zangief like he has been playing in nearly 30 years of Street Fighter games. Wow, dood! No wonder he won 4th place in EVO 2008! What a positive and inspiring player!
Yep lol. If you play Zangief for a long time you know that you are facing an uphill battle, that's part of the fun and the charm of him. And he keeps on blaming the character when we know that great players like Snake eyez clean ups master player regularly with Gief.
Now it's gone from 'tips help the most right now' to 'give me recurring behind the scenes silent majority style long term support'? Will The Guy EVER stop whining about munny
Dood...you gotta tip. Khet and I won't be able to eat Door dash dood....he's not going to be able to pay the dump fee for my cat litter dood...sad ack ack ack
Like everything in life: he gets baited into making a dumb move then gets mad because he has no defense. Perhaps he would benefit from self awareness? No... It's everyone else who's wrong. 🤔
i like how justin wong just made a video about op modern zangief while philly is busy ranting about how bad zangief is (or any character that he tries to play)
Lol Piggy smashes the fighting stick the same way he slammed the arcade machine when he was the one giving money to others during his money matches. Never change piggy bank😂
Hmm if only Zangief had some sort of spinning move that works as an anti air or had an air to air grab. Would help too if he had an armored running grab. But unfortunately SF6 Gief only has spinning pile-driver. Its a shame too since there is a thing called start up frames amd it looks like Gief also cant do EX specials either. 😂
6:26 NAHHHHH Diaphone told you to stop doing that! DSP has a habit of trying to drive impact jump ins. You can't do that, because you give the opponent time to land and throw or land and do a counter DI. DSP just doesn't learn or doesnt' care to learn.
Diaphone is wrong. He doesn't know or understand street fighter. Only phil knows the ins and outs of street fighter. All other players are just mashing safe moves and get lucky. Phil did nothing wrong😂
wasn’t just 2 days ago when pro player Diaphone LITERALLY MADE ONE WHOLE VIDEO ABOUT WHAT HE SHOULD AND SHOULD NOT DO TO IMPROVE HIS GAMEPLAY?????? and now this mf really is asking what should he do?! literally all he had to do was listen to diaphone’s advice and practice, but he can’t even do that correctly.
@@mattgehrke3115 Yeah, I clicked a random spot in the video just to see what was up and I saw Blanka and DSP bitching so I figured he was Blanka getting bodied by Zangief.
Does he EVER end up using an even remotely mid tier character or above in new fighting games? Also, oh my fucking god that Luke player's name. ANLINE KHAMBOS my fucking god LOL that is amazing.
What amazes me is that it never enters his mind that perhaps his inability to “do anything” stems from his not knowing what to do? He never analyzes his losses or learns. It’s amazing.
He refers to himself as a "thinking Zangief". Bro, I've never played a SF and I can tell you do not engage with the Drive Gauge intelligently, at all. Fall out of Plat, homie.
