Why does he resort to calling the strangers he is playing these awful names and ragging on them? How could he posdibly know a player "didn't mean to do that" and claim he won the match when he lost? Such childish behavior from an old man
DSP does basic tic throws: "Heh, I mixed them up hard." Jamie player does an actual air reset mixup: "Huhhh? What's that? I don't understand what happened!"
He does not understand what's happening half of the time then he proceeds to call everything enemy does undeserved and scrubby. How can't he see that it's beyond me
Fighting game fun fact: If someone is doing the same thing over and over again an you keep losing too it. It means you are making the same mistake over and over again.
I think there's a disrespect or BM thing where if the opponent keeps falling for one move and you just keep using it i.e. all grabs/all jabs. If I ever encounter Phil I'd 100% do that
When Phil beats someone: “ack ack ack that’s called a mixup sucka!!!!” *claps for himself* When Phil loses: “he was lucky, he plays a pattern, and he mashes jahhhb.” *angry snort* Arrogant in victory and seething on defeat.
@@zeldafreak1975Yeah like what the fuck is it with this “earn it” shit? It’s a video game you don’t have to earn shit. It’s there for entertainment and fun. Yet Phil demands you “earn it”?
You would think... if its a basic pattern every time... he would figure out how to counter it. Street Fighter is rock, paper, scissors. If someone throws rock every time, all the scissors in the world isn't gonna work. 😂 He acts like his opponent is being cheap for fighting back.
After a session of cherry-picking scrubs that he can easily beat, he’s extra salty he can’t just avoid higher players in a normal ranked match. He’s getting wrecked.
Wakup supers against Jamie's basic safe jump setup. "Huuhhh he was in the air dood?" This is basic noise and he's somehow in Diamond without understanding safe jumps. Assume he doesn't even know what that is, even though his Super Turbo was ripe with them.
Phil's that guy that talks all kinds of trash in the arcade, but does nothing but complain and make excuses when he gets bodied. That's who he's always been.
which is no wonder no one liked him and people like Jaha and Viscant wanted to kick his teeth in.... oh wait according to 2023 dps-tory phil was beloved in the FGC only his brain dead trolls said people hated him.
3:50 That Jamie combo was sick 9:50 He was so obvious here. Of course she was ready with level 3 for that. 10:35 "The mistake won the fight for her!" Okay but if she didnt screw up the combo, she would have... completed the combo. So the mistake didnt win her anything, she recovered well. 12:00 "Just guess! Just guess!" You can delay tech these. 14:35 HIS FACE HERE LMFAO 15:35 He got beat by the most basic of the basic shoto strategies and then complains as if the game is broken for letting Ryu recover? "I'm not legitimately being outplayed," so much cope 17:35 "Why did his jab beat me there? His jab beat me again, even though I should have had meaty because he's burned out!" That isnt how meaties or burnout work. Taking a break to cool off was the right choice but DSP is too salty to recover from that. 19:10 "He guessed! He guessed neutral jump! Look at the punish! On a random guess!" THAT GRAB IS REACTABLE DSP! 27:10 He keeps walking into the jabs as if he has seconds to set up oki... He needs to hit the lab and realize that he doesnt have that much advantage.
Im glad I wasn't the only one, that Jamie combo was crazy lol. I know Phil is salty and all, but even if I was getting hit by that shit I would have had to give props.
He knows people can watch match replays and see his button inputs right? I want this level of delusion. It had to feel amazing never being wrong or bad at video games.
He is a habitual liar. He is like a criminal and even the concrete evidence is placed in front of him, he will still deny it. You can see similar things like his WWEC, his 5k business expenses per month...etc. so many things he has lied about. This guy is incredibly untruthful about everything.
I will never understand what an "Online Pattern" is. Also, love to see the myriad of "COUNTER HIT" when he's allegedly "blocking". Edit: T-bag into Perfect K.O. No one deserves it more. 🤣
Simple, an online pattern is any move or combo which Mr Former Pro fighting player gets hit by because he couldn’t block. I mean he couldn’t block because he was pressing buttons or moving forward but you know totally not his fault. See he never gets outplayed it’s the characters man any brainless idiot can play them he says. Why doesn’t he play as Ken then? Sounds perfect.
I know this doesn't have anything to do with DSP, but that Jamie combo was godlike. He did a 40% combo from a super that led to a reset, which led to a wallbounce. The wallbounce left Phil dizzied, so he lost his only escape option out of the corner, gave Jamie a free drink, and led to a full damage jump in combo. If DSP was good at fighting games, he'd compliment that combo. EDIT: Also AnimeIlluminati is Jiyuna. He's a former pro fighting game player and has a RU-vid channel. DSP once again got his ass reemed against an actual fighting game player lmao
Rumor has it that Luke from last week purposely handed Phil his ass (was sent to the stream) and to make matters worse he’s a tekken player who’s only on sf6 cause it’s new, not his main game
17:46 “his jab beat me again even though I should’ve had meaty since he was burned out” I didn’t know you get auto meaties when the opponent is burnt out thanks Phil for the top notch advice
We need another episode of “DSP Smash”! Come on DaButthead! There’s enough button smashing in the SF6 segments alone for us to get a 30 minute+episode out of. 😂
I think his main problem is that he thinks hes still the same player from SF2 days and over values himself and thinks hes good enough to compete with the better players in ranked games.
Phil would be the first to die in any situation where he would have to adapt. Whenever you feel down and out about yourself, just remember people like phil exist. I promise you'll feel better.
Narcissism is terrifying. If anyone on earth should have learned humility by now, its DSP. But there is no learning, no adapting, no growth. Only the double down. Whats scary is they actually convince themselves their BS is truth.
It depresses me that people like Phil exist. He makes more than I do annually and he sucks at every aspect of his "job" It depresses me more that he has loyal simps that enable him. They watch him lie to their face, squander the money they give him and then he tells them to fuck themselves when they cant give another pint. 😂 Have you ever watched one of his actual streams? His hardcore subs are like cult members.
Just once I want DSP to actually list the pattern of things these "pattern players" do that is so impossible to guard against. DSP really doesn't understand the meaning of a pattern or he's really so dumb he falls for the same pattern time after time.
DSP doesn't understand what is going on during a match. He can't keep up. Someone will see that a move worked and will do it again because why wouldn't you? Phil's dumb and he'll fall for it again. But Phil because Phil doesn't understand what is going on he misremembered most of the fight. He couldn't tell you what the pattern was he fell for but he knows he kept getting slapped around.
Dude has over 100 hours on the game and not once has he thought to go spend 10 min in training mode to learn how to deal with the “pattern play” he’s always getting wrecked by.
if you're curious what the patterns are he's actually not wrong about some of the people he plays against. Typically characters get more reward off of certain options than others, so you'll see weaker or less experienced players fishing for these options above anything else. Things like Ken doing walk back st.Hp, Deejay jumpscaring you with drive rush constantly and also fishing for his st.Hp. Luke will do cr.MK DR a lot because, well, it's very good. Phil's problem is he doesn't adapt to these things...at all. Instead he complains about constantly getting hit by a character's best stuff. If you watch better players with far healthier mental states they can adapt to characters doing their good stuff. Except Guile's booms. That's miserable at all levels
Whines about people abusing safe moves, spends full round walk back fullscreen heavy blanka balls people can't punish and light ball whiff into buttons that has zero recovery. I bet they'll nerf the Blanka balls in first balance patch by adding more recovery on whiff, and DSP will be ruined.
phil has a very loose definition of "pattern" gameplay. one might assume someone engaging in pattern gameplay is doing the exact same routine every time regardless of what the opponent does. but if you actually watch the gameplay phil seems to define "pattern" is something that beats him everytime because he can't adapt because he himself is trying to do the same thing over and over...
Its so awesome that in SF6 they implemented a feature that if you lose you can just say "he didnt earned it" so by default you win regardless. So inclusive
Justin Wong just released his SF6 tierlist video. Blanka he ranked tier 2 (second best), saying that while Blanka is a good char, the player needs to use all of Blanka's tools to do well at a competitive level.
This ain't no competitive level though. DSP is farming most of his wins off people not knowing the matchup and not adapting fast enough to his gimmicky mash play.
Real talk, his Blanka has actively gotten worse since previous streams. He forgot about lvl2 super entirely, he forgot drive reversal entirely, I don't think he counter DI'd even once all stream. All he has now is a bunch of patterns he runs on a loop, the parry into EX upball, hop grab spam as always, the same corner sequence he always does, and some yolo lvl3 wakeup supers to steal a couple rounds here and there. But he was so proud of himself end of stream that he had more points, he's "leveling up". No DSP, you're leveling down. The points mean nothing, you're just looking for the ego boost of the game giving you sparkly shiny splash screens of you doing good and being a higher ranked player now, like it's WWE Champions or something. Your actual gameplay is legit getting worse lately.
He literally climbed from diamond 3 to 4 today but yeah bro he's getting worse that's why he's climbing in rank. What's your excuse for being hardstuck gold?
@@ihmenthis is stupid logic. It’s already been proven you only need a 45% win percentage to get to masters. You can objectively watch DSP and see his Blanka isn’t improving at all, you shouldn’t be using ranked points as a barometer of skill, use your eyes instead
10:30 - That wasn't a mistake. The player was apparently anticipating a jump from Blanka and was going air to air, but that's not what Phil did. What does he do? He frames this incredible excuse, like he knows what the player wanted to do, to lessen the blow of the "L" he took. Never change, Phil 👍🏿
Now this is some glorious salt. Street Fighter 6 brings out the toxicity that few games can. Every hit, every counter, every punish, every loss is a personal slight against his ego.
Dsp hates Ken so much too because he was rich and still has money when he was frame for murder . Unlike Phil he begs for money from fans and people. He will never be rich and always will be a begger 🤣🤣🤣🤣
DSP: *spams grab, command grab and ex reversal on wake up* DSP: ... Opponent: *predicts pigroach's grab attempt and neutral jumps to punish* DSP: WOW DOOD HAIL MARY HE GOT LUCKY ONE RANDOM GUESS DOOD!
It's mad how Phil doesn't seem to have any of the problems; block not working, parry not working, moves not coming out, anti air not coming out, specials not coming out, supers not coming out, drive impact/ cancel not coming out; when he's winning.
And Phil thinks we don't want him to play Street Fighter 6. This game is the biggest source of laughs and salt we've had in a long time. I ONLY want him to play SF6.
So for anyone that is wondering the reason Phil is always complaining about mash jab bs is because streetfighter since about 5 has been based around frame traps where before many moves had so much hitstun and push back it effetely returned you to neutral a lot. Phil got good at this "neutral" back in the day and now because he refuses to adapt he cries mashing jab. Jab and lights in general are an integral part of the game. Knowing frame data allows you to create and react to frame traps, and SF6 took this a step further with drive rush adding +4 hitstun giving more than a single dimension to each move. Anyway what frame traps are is say I do a move that leaves me +1 on block then I can do a 4 frame light which is the fastest a normal move can be. So that means no matter what my opponent presses outside of invincible moves my jab will hit them. This becomes a mind game that once a player knows that you know its safe that opens them up to do other things because you know its safe and will block so now I can say throw, or go for another normal that is also +1 on block to recreate the situation and keep my turn where said move would have lost to jab but I have "trained" you to respect my move. This creates a more dynamic system where player skill has a greater effect on the game. Phil refuses to interact with the system and cries mash jab and pattern play because his opponents know he is a moron that doesn't know what he is doing so they are punishing him. Instead of learning Phil cries about how the older simpler games were more skill based to safe face. Also if Phil did a meaty and the opponent hits him with anything that isnt invincible he messed up and is just crying to safe face and cope with his mistake.
I have a question for people that have actually watched his streams: has he ever practiced his meatys in training mode? If he really had them he wouldn’t be losing to jab but we know that Phil doesn’t know basic fighting game vocabulary.
Phil is awful at every game he plays. Tears of The Kingdom, "can't find monster parts" same guy refused to explore the game's open world to find said monster parts.
Watch his streams long enough and you’ll easily realize he hates what he does for a living , it’s just easier than finding a real job. He’d rather compromise any semblance of dignity he may have just so he can hold a controller and beg every 15 minutes for a tip. It’s pathetic. He does however practice wwe champions off stream.
The only thing he does that counts as "practice" is going into training mode, doing some "tech" that he "saw" on RU-vid (or rather, a paypig told him about) for 5-10 minutes, decides he's mastered it and leaves training mode to go play ranked.
