Although The Dinner Table is on a summer program hiatus, on June 13th we kicked off a #Juneteenth conversation at The Clinton Foundation about the power and promise of Black women featuring Ashlee Wisdom, Founder of Health in Her Hue, and Dr. Lauren Mims (who welcomed us as her special guest) Assistant Professor of Applied Psychology at New York University.
The conversation was moderated by Chelsea Clinton and included brief remarks from Anna Gifty Opoku-Agyeman, Editor of The Black Agenda: Bold Solutions for a Broken System. Together, they discussed their contributions to The Black Agenda, focusing on the power and promise of Black women and girls.
