Especially in Asia areas, nobody is allowed to buy guns and cartridges for shooting or hunting privately; also no legal gun can be bought privately; if someone has against guns & knives laws and has those many guns & cartridges as you have, or shot those many birds as you did, someone would be put in jail for many years or even more 100 years or shot to death by government. Even an area is called “Taiwan”, declares democracy, freedom and human right, maybe the most democratic area in Asia, government still using the laws which were settled in the period of martial law implemented. What’s martial law? Martial law is “no law”, that’s rulers can do what they want to do. Rulers always want to keep ruling power at all. Unfortunately, many areas got experience of terrible ruling, rulers ordered soldiers used machine guns, rifles, bayonet, grenade to slaughter people, rapped women, college girls students and killed them all; even innocent people and children down the knees in streets for no killing, soldiers still killed them all. So, don’t mention others, some are dictatorial, totalitarian. Some areas’ laws showed people can apply to new license, but it’s nominally, government always use reasons to deny, such as toppling government, sniping officials, society security, animals protection whatever they want to do; so actually nobody is allowed to buy gun privately; even just very few & very old legal guns (as antiques) can’t be sold to other people for new license, must be confiscated by government, very unreasonable and strict restrictions. Somebody wants gun to do shooting or hunting, they can’t be allowed, just do home made, it’s dangerous, and got arrested. Moreover, some bad guys and bad officials are smuggling guns, because smuggling benefits are many many times than normal selling, more strict restrictions, they are more happy, they got money through “white gloves”, even some anti-gun people or bad officials spoke loudly, they are clean in surface but dirty in fact; many corruption cases in Asia areas, those governments just showed something good to foreigners, but may be cheating people in the world.
