This video is helpful. I've got my new passport after ceremony in just 3weeks. Just to up date we can do our application for Re Acquisition Monday to Wednesday. Walk in Oath taking ceremony: by appointment Monday Tuesday, Thursday and Friday .except Wednesday Thank you

@@nursejakeUK sir tanong ko din po sana, kasi sa UK passport ko po nawala na yung Middle name ko(maiden surname ng mother). Kasi po diba walang separate section sa UK passport para sa middle name? Magkakaproblema po kaya ako pag mag apply ng Dual Citizenship? Example: Old Philippines passport: Maria Juana Rosales(middle name) Bentillo(surname) UK passport: Maria Juana Bentillo

@@cocoapey Reflected naman yan sa birth certificate. Hindi yan magkakaproblem. That should be fine. Although just to say, sa UK passport, middle name is e include sa first name. May maliit na part doon saying something like "first name and middle name". But anyway it's done. If it's not a problem then no need to pay again to get a new one.

hi, I’m due for an oath taking ceremony on Tuesday, but we’ll be travelling tomorrow Monday afternoon. What documents do i need to bring? is it just the British Passport po? and photocopy Birth certificate?😊

Hi. You can apply for a new PH passport right after the ceremony. So make sure to bring your current passport (and photocopy), your NSO/PSA original and photocopy birth certificate and your Certificate of Naturalisation (just in case).

Hi Elvie 👋 Thank you for watching. Since June 14 walk-in kalang from 1 to 4pm po weekdays to apply. Bring all the documents needed para mabilis. Not sure if napanood mo but there is a different video on the actual application date po where I list all requirements and timeline so you can screenshot. Hello po. Regardless of where you decide to retire, you should still get your monthly pension if you have contributed enough during your working years.

Hi Jake, quick question. Are they strict with this 5 photos requirement? The photo booths normally just print 4 and was wondering if I can just photocopy 😅

Agreed! Yes it's 5 talaga. I had the same problem. I ended up printing them myself with photopaper. 😁 Just followed a template fom Google regarding position of face etc.

Hi Heide. Yes there is an option for just posting the application. You will need to provide a prepaid envelope for them to send back your documents. Please check the full instructions for application by posting here: londonpe.dfa.gov.ph/consular-matters/citizenship

I am scheduled to take my oath taking for dual citizenship tomorrow the 27th of July. The original documents I sent to the Philippine Embassy last May including my British passport has not been sent back to me yet. When did you get your documents back, please?

Hello 👋. I did a walk-in application so I got my documents right away after they checked it. For your case, they should give it back to you tomorrow.

@@djgreen8281 Just ask the consulate staff as it might have been posted back without them telling you. Better if it is still there so you can process your new passport and electoral registration straight away.

@@djgreen8281 Just bring photocopies of your docus so that even if they have sent it back, you can plead and say that it was checked already for Dual, can they accept these photocopies. Also the 3 docus for Dual will be there. I'm sure that will be considered. Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Hi Heide 👋 Once you have your British citizenship, your PH passport is no longer valid (technically). Although some people still get away with using their PH passport for various purposes as long as it is not expired. For official government applications, this is will be considered fraudulent if British kana. You have to apply for a new one after oath taking for dual citizenship.

Hi David. So to confirm, you are British citizen and wish to get a dual (Filipino) citizenship to live in Cebu? So here's the answer: 1. You need to be a resident first and live in the Philippines for 10 years to be eligible to apply for Filipino Citizenship. How to be a resident in the Philippines? It just depends on you. 😊 If you have business to take care of in PH, it would be very complicated to move money around or do big transactions on a British passport only 😊.

Hi Ellie. Thank you for watching 😊. No, it's Thursday or Friday. Once you submit your application, they will contact you with the next available dates for oath taking. Make sure to bring the documents I've mentioned on your oath taking day.

Hello po. From the time na nagoath ka sa British citizenship, invalid na po yung PH passport mo kahit within date pa sya. So after ng dual citizenship need mo po new passport. Card payments nalang po, no cash sa embassy.

Hi Jden. Thank you for watching. Yes 5 talaga. Alam ko 4 yung nasa mga passport photo booths and even sa photo studio. Parang sinadya para 2 sets and bibilhin 😂. Pwede namn bili kang £1 na photo paper sa poundshop then print nalang sa library, or sa office nyo yung may coloured printer.

Hello po. Walk-in for passport para lang po sa kakatapos ng Dual Citizenship ceremony. If you did not come for dual citizenship ceremony, you have to book online first po.

Hello po sabi po ninyo after makuha yung dual citizenship nag holiday na kayo sa Philippines. My question po is okay na po ba mag stay ng longer sa Philippines without the “PH PASSPORT” ? And taking this oppurtunity to say thank you so much po sa DUAL CITIZENSHIP video niyo super helpful. Ang bilis po ng pagpunta ko kanina(dala lahat ng sinabi niyong documents needed) . Yes. Just with the 3 Dual Citizenship Documents (na makukuha mo after oath taking), you can stay as long as you want sa PH even without Philippine passport. Grabeh 9 minutes! Ang bilis. 😊 Happy to have helped ☺️.
