On Tuesday morning, Governor Ned Lamont and Education Commissioner Charlene M. Russell-Tucker held a news conference at Central Connecticut State University to announce that the Connecticut State Department of Education will award grants to expand dual credit courses in high schools throughout Connecticut. Formed through partnerships between high schools and public and private colleges and universities, dual credit courses enable high school students to earn college credits prior to graduation.
