Can't wait to see what 2014 brings us, so much unexplored terrain to venture onto! Wife and I can't wait to start riding as soon as the 5 feet of white stuff disappears! Great vid, ride safe.
Verrrry cool video! I usually don't take time to leave comments but felt I had to in this case. Nicely put together. Thanks for your work and sharing! Look forward to more. I'm a KLR 650er.
This is one of my favorite videos of you guys for sure. Very well done! Between the Adventures and the (quad?)copter footage, it is right up my alley. I would love to ride with you guys sometime if I ever end up in your neck of the woods. Keep it up! KTM Sam from Duluth
As with all of your work - this was extremely well done and fun to watch. This winter has been bad enough in North Carolina; I can't quite imagine what it's like in your part of the world. In Maine, we used to say we had 11 months of winter and 1 month of damn poor sledding. I'm guessing it's at least that bad at your house !
thanks groundcrew! yes its been a cold winter up here - colder than usual but we've been seeing some warmer days lately. Might get the bike out this weekend :)
omg! saw this because of the eveRide Adventure Motorcycling comment.. so many things to comment on.. the snow bike, doesn't that make it a triple sport?... the quad copter footage, wow, that's the 1st time I've seen it combined with bike riding (AWESOME!!).. great edit, great video... liked... subbed!!
The riding is good and there are a fair number of people between here and up the shore with Adventures. But I haven't had a chance to see all the good areas yet, hoping to find some solid playgrounds this summer. Once I do I will definitely make some videos to share as well
a lot friends (w/MotoX or street bikes) ask "what's your deal with the Dual Sport thing?" I'll be sending this now in response.Great Vid! Wish I lived in a playground like Saskatchewan.
In 9:00 a bike is pulled toward the camera. I guess it is the same bike as the 'we' are riding at 1:33. Looks like an EXC with an 990 fairing. I like it !!! Please let me know what it is?
Great compilation! I thoroughly enjoyed watching this, especially with the variety of camera angles and shots. Any chance you could share what the music is? I've noticed Alex Chacon has the same selection in his Expedition South summary video.
DEBATE PLEASE: I'd like to get a first dual sport bike here soon. My requirements are: Highway capable, but not dedicated highway commuter. Enough space and power for storage units. Very off road capable, but nothing extreme like jumping. Low ball budget. I am 5'10" and 150lbs, long arms and legs. Some options I'm looking at are the DR, KLR, and XR. Maybe DRZ, but I think for maximum reliability I want air-cooled only (opinion can be changed). Please add any other bikes I should consider, and give me your choice if you were in my shoes and why! :)
i would say to go with the DRZ but you left out the wr250r, you are not too tall for the bike nor are you too heavy, plus adding a large cap gas tank you can go for 250+ miles on a single fill up
