You probably are correct on your latter statement but for the previous games only. We should take into consideration that these people (Dualcarbon) are not full time game developers, they're actually interior designers in real life and they have no experience in game developing before UTS hence why the game was plagued by so many bugs. UTS was their first formal trucking game after DriveSim2020 which they also sold to App Holdings. DriveSim2020 was just vanilla in all of the previous game engine assets including the map. UTS was their eye opener to the Independent Developer world and this time they carry the experience and knowledge to make a more friendly user and better game overall.

We still have to wait a little bit longer though
