Have you tried the Dualsense Edge controller? What do you think to it? Check out my full best settings video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5gNo6Zkbymg.html&ab_channel=Breakbleep
About to get one for my birthday dont get expensive things often this was a good review I watched your old one 8 months back thanks im pretty confident in its longevity now 🙂
Gone through 2 in less than a year. Around 3-4 months the back paddles go out. Some problem on both the ones I bought around the 3-4 months period of owning
@adamhope549 I don't know I'm a great person to ask for that. I don't use the triggers for ads and firing. I use the left and right bumpers. But as far as trigger pull, I do know that the dualsense edge is not as fast as the scuf digital tap buttons but is equal to the trigger stop buttons
I’ve had mine for almost a year now and my only complaint is the battery. I fully charge mine and after 2-3 hours of warzone my battery is already one bar. I have a little stick drift but I plan on buying new analog sticks soon.
I have the edge, only had it for about a week but so far so good. The trigger issue dosent really impact my gameplay as I use R1 and L1 for shooting/aiming. Not had the time to fix the settings but have found myself accidentally hitting the back paddles so might try your alternative set up with the dome and the paddle.
I just bought it 2 weeks ago. Everything is alright except that for some reason some times the L2 have a weird feeling and sound. But then the other day was working fine and now today it feels weird again 😂
I won the PS5 w/ 3 controllers and a PS5 camera from the NewEgg lottery back in the day when the system was a rare find. I think I paid 650 for the package. I love the system but within 6 months, 2 of the controllers had joystick drift. Nothing game breaking, but definitely noticeable and annoying.
Its completely remappable just remap your fire button to r1 instead of r2 instant engagement trigger stop ain't needed. Takes getting used to but makes a massive difference
I’ve played with L1/r1 instead of L2/R2 for almost 2 decades now, I’ve never had an issue with triggers 😂😂😂. Truly don’t know why more people don’t just play that way. Instant fire, and it’s more ergonomical. ESEPCIALLY if you were one of the insane people that played claw. R1/L1 >>>>>
@@Breakleep thats quite impressive for ANY ps5 controller considering the regular dualsenses tend to get drift after a few months. Calms my worries a bit since I’m always extra careful with my dualsense edge 😅
@@BreakleepI know it’s been a while since you posted, but is it just mine or does yours also have a lag on the vibration? Another thing do your thumb stick have very light tension to that of the regular dual sense?
I can't believe these expensive controllers don't use hall effects for their analog sticks, seeing how stick drift is a common problem in these controllers they are suppose to be a premium product, but it seems a lot of times they use cheap parts.
Awesome review ! From your experience it’s a solid option for Warezone ! Do you know if there is some workaround for the trigger that could work for the Dualsense Edge?
The trigger for firing? The length is fine its 100% better than a standard and all that matters is how fast/hard you push you can make it as fast as you want but that wont matter it’s already instant enough
If you're looking for the grey ones with the holes in then they're here: amzn.to/3tFWLFw Although they're pretty much the same as ones on the first link.
for me this is perfect because i dont mind the cons i need a controller that i can change the stick without buying a new controller thats why i have yet too jump on the elite 2 controller
Mine comes today, I’m just wondering if replacing the stick module has Sony now allows us to do with this controller, does it actually fix the drift? I just want a controller that will last years and years with no drift problems
I'm going to make the jump, though I mostly play turn based RPG's, so I'm probably wasting my money a little. Everspace just killed one of my sticks, with stick drift!
I just got mine, I had an extreme rare modified controller that sadly broke I thought fk it and went for the edge, I wish the trigger stoppers were better as in an even smaller travel distance would be interested to know if you found a solution but I don’t fancy screwing around with a new £200 controller 😂
I've had mine for a month it's ok honestly I like the original controller better I don't like the paddles no matter how I set them up this is preference don't like the trigger stops feels odd and the rubber grips were you hold it gotta be the worst idea ever it wears out and gets stained
For any real gamer this controller sucks if you play fps everyday joystick wear out quick and Sony keeps none in stock EVER! If they do they’re sold out in minutes I’m sure because I’ve been checking for months now Iva had to buy a second controller for the joysticks 400 in hole for a sub par controller .This controller is also heavy. If your gaming hard NO casual YES but why spend 200 playing casually?
$200??! wtf? that is insanity. isnt the regular controller around $50? um hold on 2 seconds...mmk sorry bout that. I just used my Noggin to decide which one I should get. My brain told me I was gonna be getting the one that cost $50. I was like Duuhh of course..wuttta ya think im stupid? My brain had no reply to that for some reaon. 🤔🤔 only thing my brain had to to me after that was .....Who's yer Daddy..... 😳😮 I mean come on...that was a lil harsh.... I mean truthfullly..ME MYSELF and I probably WOULD get it...but my brain aint gunna let that happen..no way, no how. Common Sense is VERY underrated. ........ So the final score is ........ (BRAIN = 1) vs. (ME/MYSELF/I = 0)
lol not worth it at all since the coolest thing about ps5 is the cool ass trigger feedback and Xbox has a controller that does all this for 80 dollars less and it can tension the joy sticks . Also the ps5 joystick position sucks
