DualSense Edge - Replacing Stick Modules 

like what’s the point of having a controller that can change module sticks but there’s no way to get the module sticks

Yes! So many people were telling me it was just a scuff but this is probably cheaper than going through multiple 75$ controllers

So true Jake. And that is mainly because of using potentiometers for sensors which are so easy to get damaged or whatever. They should be making these controllers with hall effect sensors instead of potentiometers. That would solve a lot of issues users are experiencing. I bought my PS5 and after just two weeks the (standard) controller that came with it (left stick) started drifting uncontrollably. Got it repaired for a cost and a couple days after same thing reoccured. Sent it for repair again but just in case I've now ordered a new controller...The Edge this time which is very expensive IMO. While the advantage with the Edge is easy to swap out and replace whichever module it still doesn't negate the fact that the drifting issue will not reoccur because well it's still using potentiometers. I'm eagerly awaiting someone coming out with hall effect ones instead.

The standard should be hall effect sticks, so you don't have to replace them at all.

Or use hall-effect sensor based sticks and not cheap ones...

3rd parties like gulikit will actually take advantage of the modular design and make a hall effect-based replacement module. So a win-win for gulikit because now they have an easy-to-install platform to market their hall-effect replacement sticks.

It’s crazy that they have plenty of pro controllers but they don’t have the modules in stock for months. It beats the hole selling point of this controller

Yeah I’m starting to thing this is a software issue not a stick issue sometimes my right stick acts up and the camera is spinning on its own and it randomly stopped

Hi this is Sony sorry but we scammed you buy a new controller if its got stick drift and forget that we sold you a promise and you got an out of stock page instead

I had ordered the extra module along with the dualsense edge. I asked this question before it came in. But unfortunately the module only comes with one cap already attached.

Aftermarket is gonna be the only option I imagine

They use cheap material. It's atrocious

I also broke the left stick in two months

£200 for something you gotta fix every month with there very much in stock part ohh wait its not in stock ohh wait it hasn't been in stock for like 5 months

They can't add it to the standard Dualsense without completely redesigning the internals.

@Silver Fox to spend $20 per stick is silly when I can buy a new controller for a little bit more. Sony talks about how they are trying to eliminate E waste but they are creating a huge amount of it with flawed components
