Hey mate I got a dualtron 1 with a ultra 72v battery with X2 controllers upgrade, struggling with the wiring ATm anything you can do to help me out by showing me your wiring etc?
Where can I buy sliders from?I also have an original Thunder, I think they are more customizable. I have mine lowered, looks better and handles better at lower speeds. I also have an exponential throttle regulator. I can ride my thunder very smoothly at lower speeds. An upgraded stem locking tool.
Allot of work, big and expensive upgrades!!! The only thing, (not i don't like) is to much.. is the green colour you paint on scoot and that because of the colour lights... Stock dualtron has allot of colour lights and you double them.. Of course this has to do with the esthetic of everyone... Not easy to explain in writing but essentially all LEDs are connected to 12v inside the scooter. The mudguard, the deck, the stem... everything 12v and on Bluetooth led controller...so to add LEDs, I buy my own off Amazon (12v waterproof 3 wire led and connect it to existing Bluetooth controller that controls the Mudguard
Nice video! Gave me some good ideas.. Your range extender battery, where did you get it? I just bought the thunder 2, and would like to add a range extender battery. I've looked online, can't seem to find anybody that even has one for a 72 V system.
so, the thunder is 60v lg cells. the best thing you can do is buy a battery from a reputable scooter brand and use it as an extender battery. in my case, i wanted a 60v 25 ah lg cells battery. so i bought the mantis pro battery online brand new. cost 650 bucks and its 60v 24.5 ah same cells as the thunder. if you have a 72 v system, look for a 72v scooter battery in the size you want. typically for 72v systems, you're looking for around 32ah size.

@@nycdualtronguy Hi, Sweet build! Could you confirm that the column was sent unassembled? I ordered on from Minimotors NYC which came in the box with very little padding, fully assembled and looking rather beat, like they sent me a used/return not new etc. I have a couple friends that stated they received theirs not put together as well, but the clowns at the shop that sold it are trying to say that they don't come not together and and they seem to want to argue the point to assert that the one I received was new when it clearly is not (even has different colored washers, scoring marks on the hardware etc. I appreciate you thoughts on this as I am not sure whether I should return it or just use it and blast the clownshoe liars for shady practices with everywhere being sold out and not wanting to deal with them any more than I already have! Second ask, and apologies for the novel, but do you by chance have size listing for the different hardware (bolts etc) as I wanted to replace all with 12:9 when doing my build, also wondering if you happened to have a good idea for the various torque specs so as to get things tightened properly without damaging anything! Thank you in advance, I really appreciate your thoughts and am beyond impressed with your work and efforts thus far with your bad-ass Dualtron build!
@@brianprosek7875 hey. so for the double stem, its obviously made by cosmo designz and initially i went to order it but it was also sold out on minimotors nyc and cosmo. for some reason, cosmo makes them in batches and they have a contract with the local dealer (minimotors nyc) to ship it to them for resale. But, i found that minimotors nyc will put them up on their website to buy when they dont actually have it in stock. they will take these as pre orders and then takes 3 months to get it. (really annoying). however, i found another website based in california i think. and they should have it in stock. i bought it here: evpro.world/product/cosmodz-carbon-fiber-steering-column-for-dualtrons-mk-ii/ and they were also selling it so i called and they actually had it sitting on the shelf. On that website, they gave me the option to either have it pre assembled or not. I picked not assembled. honestly, its a shit show with minimotors nyc sometimes to get this stem for some reason and if it has visible damage , i would call them up say its got damage. ill try and remember where i ordered mine from, but it was not minimotors nyc. I dont have the size listings for the different bolts, but im sure you can call up any shop that works on dualtrons and ask. when it comes to tightening things, the general rule is for me is to go by feel and what it is. if im tightening up my wheels to the forks, i want them tight to where my wrist can go anymore, but things like the top deck cover, its a very suddle tight. plus, anything important you want to tighten, just put blue locktight on the thread and you're good to go. its not going anywhere.
i painted it myself as a project and to get familiar with the scooter parts. learning to take things apart , inspect and know how things work is important to me. but i am planning to actually take it apart again and have everything powder coated the same color and do magura mt5e brakes

if you mean that they just slide into the existing bolt and screw, then yes. the nutt is screwed inside and then you cover the nutt with a screw on cap.
