Quite privileged to say i was the lead supervisor that day at Heathrow cargo when we received your cars and I've been lucky enough to drive them twice. Thank you for bringing the film crew as i can finally say i made it on youtube. We're always very careful with cars and take great care of them. Was a pleasure meeting you and look forward to seeing more of your stunning cars being flown through us with Emirates. Keep up the good work
Proud to say if this was a 777 200F built anytime from 2012 to current, I've had a hand in building it. It's incredible to see a couple of my dream cars on something I've personally worked on. Literally right now on break at the factory haha. Gotta say also that Emirates has the best 777 fleet out there.
Your Senna spec is by far the best looking one I've seen. It looks absolutely awesome with the British Green, orange accents and dark wheels. Best Regera spec too! You're a man of taste.
Come to New Zealand James, right hand drive, beautiful roads and scenery, friendly people and proud to have Emirates as sponsors of some of our best sports teams including the New Zealand Americas cup champion sailing team
Great to see some behind the scenes processes, Thankyou for the trouble of going to that. I am sure a lot of people will feel much better about doing that now ! I would have to recommend a visit to Australia of which to ere are many great driving roads and targa events. If you can get to Hobart for the Targa Tasmania that is an experience many of us want to have at some point. The roads are 👌🏻. The great ocean road, Bathurst, Southern High country and Many more great driving roads throughout Australia. Be sure to holiday in Queensland with the family when your done 😉 🏖
Being able to fly your car whereever you want it to go is obviously amazing, but can we take a moment to admire how beautifulthe garage that the cars ended up in is (from the beginning of the video). I really wonder how that beautiful place came together with the decisions on the colors, the elements that make it up, the flooring, the lighting etc. It looks better than most showfloors, yet it appears to be privately owned. That's very inspiring
Fantastic video, really enjoyed learning about how cars are flown to different locations. I’m quite new to watching your videos, would be cool if you made a video on what cars you have. 👍
This is great to know! I actually trying to fly two cars from Miami to Germany next Summer. Some information about the pricing would be great. Shmee said it´s around 40G now, 10G in the past...
I work as an air freight forwarder and transporting cars isn't that difficult. Compared to something like food or chemicals this (moving cars via a plane) is like any other regular cargo 😉 But it was nice to see air transport related content there. I only wonder if you could tell us how much it is to move a car from Dubai to London (roughly).
Mr JWW Awesome Video I think it's absolutey incredible that Emirates ships Cars and I think your Senna is Absolutely Gorgeous and I would love to see it with Tims someday and I can't wait to see your 992 911 GT3 with your 718 Cayman GT4RS
Fascinating. Very much looking forward to Gumball; the DDE boys are going, so that should make for some energised content! Are there two Gumball rallies a year now?
This is so mind blowing that to think a concept like this back in 1930 was in the realm of fiction and fantasy.the mind blowing thing is,is that not only it's possible but the seemliness of the execution is what actually triggers it in my mind at least
Come to Melbourne. The car culture is tremendous.. and then do a road trip around Tasmania. It's a drivers nirvana. Fabulous roads, great food and beautiful scenery. Get in touch with me and I'll help you plan it and connect you with the right people.
Great video. I am surprised the cars are not wrapped with a simple protective cover to avoid potential scratches or damage etc. Unless i missed that part of the video. Also, did they mention the price?
If you move your cars cross borders check if you can apply for an ATA-Carnet. Takes away a lot of hassle with customs and in general results much cheaper than regular imp/export clearence. And check your milage, due to the fuel restriction they are often driven to lower the qty. Btw, using an airline thats not based in the country you export from is often much cheaper. In the ATA carnet you can include other parts as well…..it all just needs to be present in case customs checks physically. Any part missing will cost you tax
ATA carnet is only for exibition or events goods in case of vehicles with foreign number plates you need CPD so you can drive your car legally in the host country just for your info 😊
Instead of going through all that hassle and cargo charges, I can hire the exact same car in Dubai for the number of days I'm staying. I hired a G wagon on my last visit for 14 days and worked out much cheaper 😂
Although I wasn't a kid when I started watching these videos, but I was definitely much more ambitious at the time. You could have a plan and be optimistic about it as you look into the future. 6-7 years later here we are, ambition at this level is no longer appreciated and if I pretended that all the mess in the world is just a coincidence I would be sick of my own naivety. Only the super wealthy, the corporations, and the powerful have the privilidge to plan long term now and look into the future with an optimistic state of mind. We at the bottom including the upper middle class, we are basically screwed. I always enjoyed James's content, and I still think he is the least pretentious of all the supercar channels, but I'm not denying that I only watched this one because of aviation. Can't watch supercar channels anymore. Hopefully I'm completely wrong, and there is a bright future ahead all of us that I'm not seeing just yet...
Possibly fly them to a slightly poorer country to see what issues and obstacles you face that way you can really tell the guy at Emirates what they can improve on. (Maybe Pakistan and yes I'm from Pakistan I just wanna see your cars over they're lol). Keep up the hard work and loving your collection 👌🏼❤
