Kevin/Markus absolutely deserved *_Male player of the year_* title. Markus was in injury and unfit but both were playing insanely good. 7 superseries titles in a year is the new world records (MD) and closed 2017 with such an amazing journey. Congrats Minions, stay in Bright Yellow 🤘💪🏸🏆🎖

I strongly agree! Most of the Japanese WD players are still using the traditional clearing/defending style, except Misaki/Ayaka.

These 2 pairs are more entertaining to watch (especially Fuku/Hiro) when they're playing against more attacking pairs, the semi finals were pleasant to watch in my opinion. But it's true that when confronting each other, with their defensive play style, it's not that much of a show. And Takahashi/Matsutomo are definitely different from the other Japanese WD pairs in terms of play style, hope they will come back stronger next year. Also, the uprising pair of Matsumoto/Nagahara is pleasant to watch too, a lot more attacking play than you would expect from a Japanese WD pair.

That block on the last shot, isn't it fault? LCW hasn't even swing the racket yet and Victor already raise the racket to block? The umpire was at pause a little before calling the point too. He's already in a match point, no need to do this to make him more advantage. Umpire's standard these days keeps getting lower and lower.

LCW should actually retire now, his body probably wont be able to keep up with youngsters like viktor and momota when he gets back up. Hes still so good but youngsters will beat him

LCW performed well to reach the finals at this age. He beat many youngsters along the way. Credit goes to him to withstand the tortuous final game.
