China put 4 representatives, and got 2 gold medals. Indonesia put 2 and got 1. Japan also, half of their representatives. Denmark was saved by Axelsen. Big thanks for Axelsen for preventing Lin Dan 😊.

Size doesn't matter. Okuhara deserve to be the World Champion as she really work so hard for every point and her perseverance paid handsomely. Looking towards more winners in the coming Super series events. Congratulations again Nozomi Okuhara! !

A year ago.....and I still touched by all of the match. I can even remember how excited and nervous I was when I have to watch Okuhara finally grab 5 of the last 6 points in that final set. And this video manage to put those vibes, sadly BWF 2018 has different style of videos

I was there in person, it was tense and everyone was on the edge of their seats by the last few points! Okuhara did maybe just a much running as Sindhu did, and to be fair she had much lengthier matches to get to the finals than Sindhu, therefore Sindhu should have been better rested, which goes to show just how fit and how much effort Okuhara must have put in from a different perspective.

TTY is still incredibly fit. I would love to see TTY and Okuhara play once. But I always agree with NongChen on his/her second half of the comment. Okuhara played more games throughout the tournaments, I can only imagine how much stamina she has!
