My goodness. This video is truly one of the most beautifully done travel videos I have ever seen-the camera work, the narration, and the music…just splendid.
Very informative video for the prospective tourist. I now have a better idea of what to expect when my family and I visit. One of the best aspects of the video is how you have mastered the volume control in editing, so the music doesn't drown out the commentary; something many others seem to overlook 😊
I am glad you liked the piece, I am sure you will enjoy the city too: I was so touched by the friendliness of the locals. And special thank you for acknowledging the audio editing on the piece too:)
Nicely filmed. The most unusual thing about using a bus in Ireland is not that you have to pay with coins, it's the fact that everyone says 'thank you' to the bus driver as they leave the bus. The pub he mentions as the oldest pub in Ireland is not true. The oldest pub in Ireland is Sean's Bar in Athlone. It has records going back to the year 900. It is actually the oldest pub in the world. The Temple Bar pub is hated by Dubliners. The price of a pint of Guinness is nearly double what it would cost in any other pub, it's a tourist trap and real Dubliners warn tourists not to go there. And the best thing about Ireland is something that visitors always mention. The people of Ireland, even though they swear a lot, are very friendly, helpful, clever and funny.
Thank you for your feedback! I certainly didn’t know about the Sean’s Bar! I will visit it next time we go there! And as with Irish people: I love them, they are so incredibly open!
You truly did a massive service to my city with this video... beautifully shot, narrated and I really enjoyed seeing all my old haunts in your eye view. Very well put together, thank you, from a true Dub
Mike, my brother, you're amazing dude! I don't think I've ever seen our capital city look so great. You've really got gifted, buddy when it comes to filming. Like, Dublin folk have a lot to thank ya for, man, well done, Mike, you're a true champion, for sure. 💯👌❤ Gosh, Mike, I'd love it if you went to my city of Limerick, Ireland, sometime and filmed its world-famous King John castle as you've done with Dublin.'s landmarks. Limerick city has got a good few iconic ones. like It's King John's castle, it's Shannon river, that's the longest in Ireland and the UK, and Limerick's world-famous 'THE CRESCENT' A street that's wider than London's widest one, Portland street. And Limerick's long O'Connell st that's a mile long. And Limerick's Sarsfield bridge was designed and based on Paris's Pont De Neuilly bridge, and Irish coffee was invented in Limerick, it's Ireland's third city and it's full of amazing Irish and UK history, cheers, Mike.
Eric, thank you so much for such a wonderful feedback and such kind words! We will definitely visit Limerick!! You have certainly inspired us to visit it!
Visited Ireland on the start of September with my band - treated it more of a holiday than on the business side of things which is what led me to appreciate the region! Visited Killarney town and nature districts which was LOADS to see, Limerick and Cork city. Gutted that we didn't get to see Dublin because it wasn't on our path to get the ferry back to the UK, mostly because we were out of time. Great vlog on Dublin, now you made me wanna go to Ireland again for this city. When you are next in Ireland, you must go to Killarney
Thanks Peter! Now you made me want to see more of Ireland for sure! What was the ferry trip like? Was it long? Where did it take you in Ireland? It would be great to explore it by car
I loved your video! So nicely filmed and very entertaining. Loved the music choices as well, and how beautifully they went along the scenery. Great job!
@@mikebogatyrev3058 I'll stay Dublin for 5 days and 3 weeks total in Ireland. Thank you for replying. In forecast it would be 10C-20C seems like cool. In Seoul right now almost 30C.
