Revisiting again, see my comment from 7 years ago, hah. Your tunes were one of the first ones I've saved into my Favourites. Hope you well man, take care and happy 2020!
On this day, 4 months ago, the Author of The Snowman, Raymond Briggs passed away. I'd like to make this year's comment on Christmas' most essential tune in his honor. He made a great many books that were often deliberately not written specifically for children nor adults. Always with a message to elevate humanity. Always a cheerful topnote, with deeply detailed undertones that keep you thinking, and in which you can lose yourself for a fair number of days, only to discover new details on second and subsequent reads. This year, I read "When the Wind Blows". A book about an elderly couple trying their best to follow government guidelines in the midst of an unfolding nuclear war. I came away from the book with complex feelings in combinations I never felt before. The fact that what plays out in the book so closely matches reality was not lost on me. I can highly recommend it. Folks, have a wonderful Christmas. Cherish and strengthen the bonds you have. Cultivate dialog. Never give up, never surrender. And last but not least; DROP THE BASS
I literally just cried. This is my favorite movie as a child, even now. So magical. and the fact that this is an amazing dubstep remix of it. it makes me cry honestly. i love whoever did this.
I’ve just had my 5 year old son stay for an early Christmas with his dad, we watched this everyday, he’s autistic and the films calming for him. Here I am reminiscing about his stay and I searched the soundtrack and found this! What a masterpiece, thank you mate, gonna listen whenever I feel down and missing my boy. 💪
i've had this masterpiece in my play list for 14 years, every few months I remember it and have to listen to it again and again, really a great track! =)
This is such a wonderful example of how simple but effective dubstep should be. None of this over-produced robot dentist technical bullshit holds a candle to how hard this song goes.
I was 19, my sister 1 years old. She loved this song while my mum found it an odd but cool song. My mum partied hard in her younger years but had never heard of dubstep. Now im 33, and listening to it with my newborn baby.
I listen to this track every year after it came up as a recommended video, has to be at least 5-6 years now, never gets old. Well played Hereldeduke 😁😁
I remember seeing this video when i was really young... I have to say this makes me feel like a kid again.. but yet something much more, there just aren't words to describe it.
This is the most nostalgia bringing/amazing thing ive ever heard. I used to sit, glued to the tv screen when i was 3 years old watching this movie on repeat. I can still remember this, as clear as day. This video has been the best thing for me this year. Thankyou for making this.
Beginning of July 2024 and I’m bumping this right now 😂 is been in my mind since 2008 when first heard it. Today Etta James at last reminded me of this track and I came here immediately
Its called The Snowman, its a full length movie, this video is just clips from it, and the song is from the movie as well. I watched in school as a kid and had completely forgotten about it untill now, i'm so glad this mix exists lol
I found this over three years ago, and just now I looked it up again, and you know what? It's fucking brilliant! It's got that beautifully eerie feel to it, that I just cannot leave alone! Thank you for this track! It just hits right in the feels! ^_^
The Snowman is so beautiful and one of the best things about British Christmases. If it doesn’t get you emotional, you’re not human. And I remember crushing this remix back in the day at uni. Had completely forgotten about it. Thanks for the reminder cuz ❤
IT'S TIME!!! Merry Christmas Hereldeduke! Hope you're doing well. Seeing this channel has changed names, I see you're still alive. Hope everything is well. Wishing you (and everyone else for that matter) a merry christmas, and a happy new year!
