I couldn’t agree any more! I saw them a few years ago for the 3rd time and they were so different!!! I want more journey of a lifetime & white satin & Massive Attack! Even the colabs with Omar Was fuckin amazing!!! That’s the Zeds Dead I LOVE
Those times have come and gone man. I was in the scene back in the early 2010’s Saw Zeds Dead, Skream and Benga, and Pendulum in San Jose in 2011. You still hear dubstep at live events but singles like this just aren’t in the zeitgeist anymore.
Used to have this song on repeat literally 10 years ago at my first masonry construction job over the summer when I was 13. Life was horrible during that time period of my life. To be honest it was artists like Zeds Dead that I truly believe I am still alive to this day because of. I don’t know how to properly express it all, but listening to this today, a decade later, has brought tears to my eyes. I hope everyone is doing well and makes it through these times stronger and better for it. Stay positive y’all.
otherway around, I remember 10years ago everything was all good family together and then everything shatter through the years and now I come back to this to remember great times...
I keep seeing this kind of comment it’s a sign that everything is going to be ok…. I literally am going through soo much shit and it’s no fault of my own and it’s insane these types of music literally save my life over and over again . This song is about a narcissist just being a total psycho mostly I think … like it’s unfortunate that when we feel a storm… we can roll ourselves over because we’re uncomfortable . When she says love is like a sin , my love -for the one that feels it the most …. So true the one who cares less has the most power
After hearing the original track the baseline seems to be just asking for a dubstep remix and absolutely no-one could do it more justice than Zeds Dead. Fantastic track - So much talent from both artists.
Dubstep was originally called UK Bass, and dubstep originates from 2 step music that infamous kick on the 2nd beat and the snare on the 4th beat. There were few Bass music artists from like the late 90s like Bass Mechanic he was ahead of his time. Check out Bass Mechanic - Bass Mechanic and his track Night Bass. Literally from the 90s. Once people saw how much sub Bass made music better dubstep blew up and I believe spawned trap music from people wanting more Bass
That immediate bass drop always sends me back to a very specific LSD flashback. *The memory* while peaking my now ex girlfriend and I when the beat dropped just simply both looked at each other into our eyes wide open as they possibly could've been, no words spoken whatsoever.
@@hippytrippyjonboy828 no but I just know exactly what you mean! That speechless feeling in a hard trip. I was going down memory lane through a bunch of old songs last night.
I was sitting in the car with my friend when this song came on from her playlist. I didn't know about it and she turned the speakers all the way up and OH YES
It's unfortunate that when we feel a storm We can roll ourselves over cause we're uncomfortable Oh well, the devil makes us sin But we like it when we're spinning in his grip [Chorus] Love is like a sin, my love For the ones that feel it the most Look at her with her eyes like a flame She will love you like a fly will never love you again [Verse 2] It's unfortunate that when we feel a storm We can roll ourselves over when we're uncomfortable Oh well, the devil makes us sin But we like it when we're spinning in his grip [Chorus] Love is like a sin, my love For the one that feels it the most Look at her with her smile like a flame She will love you like a fly will never love you again
This song has a relaxing quality to it. Like a nice sunny morning, with the powdery snow covering the grass. Kinda like that sunrise that youll never forget. Or that sunset you enjoy with your favorite person.
Oh. Oh man. This one BLEW ME AWAAAAAY. I'm really sick at the moment, and didn't think I was capable of audio-chills, but this one left me SHOOK. DAMN. Where has this been all my life?
Yo....this track is mixed really....REALLY well. I'm listening to this in a studio because this was on someone's playlist for reference tracks. Wow! Whoever mixed this did a GREAT job. Very clean and good separation of freq's. Good mixdown even though YT kills the sample rate.
1st time I got high and drank serveral beers, me and some friends got in his car with some subs to this song.I felt very content and the chillest person on the planet while listening to this.
I've loved this MA song for a while now, but this is the first time I've heard this remix from Zeds Dead and DAAAAAAMMMN!!! That's some FATTY bass, BRRRRRRR
This has to be one of the best tracks I discovered on RU-vid..... It sounds so great at high volume. Brilliantly done remix. The bass is so deep on this one!! :=)
@@sachalebabe it won't come back because music has moved on, as it always does, and new sounds become popular, new genres emerge. Just be grateful we had it and can look back nostalgically at it. This was around my first year of uni - a great time in my life anyway, so great memories brought back by music like this
Both versions sound cool, why are so many hating? Obviously, if the song was so perfect the way it was you wouldn't have searched for a remix to listen to right? Right.
This song actually played a big part in me starting up with music. I connected with this song and wanted to create something that maybe someone can feel and jam out to like I did so may years ago.
