Dude you should do more reviews, not only is so comprehensive and informative in terms of actual use, but also, you have a great style and as they say, you are natural!!!! :) Peace
he would need to buy endless packs to do that... unfortunately honest reviews fall between the cracks and are far and few between ..its mostly sellout yewtoobers who are just paid marketers
Hey thanks for putting this out there. I've been looking at this pack from my locked in, lockdown flat and there's a dearth of good overviews. This one was really helpful in giving me a good idea that I do want to try it out.
Hi Antonio! Could you tell me about the pole holder on the belt? The poles do not bother to walk when they are tied? And I would also like to ask you about the overall solidity of the backpack. Is it made to last? What about the laces of the compression system? they seem very little thick. Great review by the way! Tank's a lot! Greetings from Argentina
I have Z poles, the ones that fold in three parts? Those are great and do not get in the way. I imagine it can be different with telescopic poles. The bag ha abren good so far, but I do not use it as often as my smaller packs. Mammut has an excellent customer service though, I’m confident if something. Happens they would respond accordingly
Hey, I know it's been 3 years but I'm wondering, is the weight of the bag 1400g affect you at all? Because I have quite a lot of multi day vertical climbing and I'm wondering if I should get something lighter than this bag
@@Honest-Review Thanks for the reply. The dimension on Mammut's website stated the height is about 22.75 inches and most airlines carryon size is 22" x 14" x 9". I am hoping the depth of the aircraft's overhead bin is more than 22".
In case someone else is skeptical about using Ducan Spine 28-35 as carryon, this backpack indeed fits on the Airline's oversize bin. If the gate agent asked to size it with those bin sizer, it will not fit. Anyhow, here is my experience using this backpack as carryon. United 737 - by far is the deepest for overhead bin. It's still get about another 1.5 inch left deep. United 757 - barely fit United 777 - barely fit LATAM A320 - barely fit LATAM A321 - barely fit
Thanks, this is really a great review. There's just on question left; what is the size of the space for the drinking system and which system in particular do you use (semmes insulated)?
It has a lot of room for bladder systems. In this case I was using a 3 litter system by Hydrapak. It is not insulated, only the hose is. Drinking hose sleeves are easily found on Amazon.
@@Honest-Review Thanks for the answer. Unfortunately i have to send the 50-60 version back. At the end of day one in usage the Active Spine System squeaks way too much. Furthermore the shoulder straps weren't very comfortable in my opinion.
@@Honest-Review This is why I returned mine. I loved this pack, but the squeak starting getting so loud that it was drilling into my head when on a hike with no other sounds around me. I actually just reached out to Customer Service to see if this issue was resolved with this year's line. Hoping to hear some good news!
