The 2,060 parts of a Ducati are mounted on a chassis that has been specifically designed for racing. In MotoGP, Ducati relies on Seamless technology, which enables gear changing in only 9 milliseconds by simply putting pressure on the gear lever. Ducati features a 340 mm brake disc and four pistons to handle its 350 km/h performance and 157 kilo weight.

Lol. Listen to this I read in an interview. Ducati also tried to recruit Masao Furusawa in 2011 after he retired from Yamaha. He was the genius lead engineer boss guy at Yamaha who designed the M1 and crossplane crank engine (which is now also in the R1) from 2004 onwards. He got a call from Ducati and flew to Italy to have a meeting. Then was spotted in Italy and rumours spread, even Rossi telephoned him many times to ask him what he's doing in Italy and that he wants to see him. At that meeting Rossi told him that he's going back to Yamaha. When Furusawa returned to Japan a few days later Yamaha summoned him to headquarters and they asked him what he was doing at Ducati. He told them and Yamaha said, even though he didn't work for them anymore, that he's not allowed to. Japanese being all about honour and such, he then declined Ducati's offer...

@ajv802
@ajv802 6 лет назад
The Ducati didn't suit Lorenzo's style either but now he is winning??? Though the Ducati is a far better bike than the Honda this year, without Marc the Honda would be an embarrassment in the championship. The Ducati is more stable under brakes, better out of corners and faster down the straights. The Honda carries slightly more corner speed thats about its only strong point over the Ducati, and its minuscule at that.

@@ajv802 Ducatard is the real embarrassment in the championship. Won only one championship in their entire history LMAO
@ajv802
@ajv802 5 лет назад
@@atasatap They have and it was only because they had Stoner as a pilot, This year is a little different to last but the Ducati was certainly the best bike on the field last year regardless if they have only won a single championship. I wouldn't go as far as to say the Ducati is crap because they have one a single championship under their belt. If Marc went straight to Ducati when he left Moto2 then they would have a lot more. When was the last championship Honda won when they didnt have freaks like Marc and Stoner riding for them....2006 Hayden, because Rossi crashed and got injured... before that it was Rossi when he was in his Prime. Id rate the current Ducati well over the Honda simply because Marc is the only rider to win a race on the Honda this year. Ducati could win with both of their riders... Marc makes the Honda competitive not the other way around. I'm not a Honda or Ducati fanboy, I own Suzuki's and Kawasaki's but i do call a spade a spade. The current RC213V is a pig of a bike, developed around Marc and his freakish abilities and thats why nobody else seems to do well on it, Honda are fully aware of this and know that if Marc leaves they are fucked which is probably why they signed Lorenzo. Thinking if he could win on a Ducati then maybe he could win on a Honda and they didn't have to fear ever losing their golden goose Marc... not the case for them unfortunately. At a guess Marc will see out 2020 with Honda to beat Rossi's title record count and then move on to win a title with another manufacturer., Honda are not stupid and know this.

What fucking nonsense are you jabbering about??? Get off the crack dude. You clearly have no fucking clue about the MotoGp series... Yamaha is pathetic (last week publicly apologising to their riders because of just how shit their bike is) and the Ducati is the strongest bike this year and last, Honda has the best rider in the world, certainly not the best bike... thats why the other Honda riders aren't exactly turning the world on fire. But best you get back to your crack pipe, I respect a crack head that knows how to spell words and type sentences regardless of how mis informed their opinions are.. congrats dude!
