Ive set suspension on ,,sport offroad,, settings recommended by Ducati… Maybe it needed a bit more preload on front and rear as I weight around 100kilos in full gear, but this worked much better than original settings
Tyres I was using were MX/Enduro tyres… Far away from original Pirellis… Steering Damper is okay for road use, but for offroad it needs Scotts Damper… Check out Muller Motorsport, they are working on kit for Scotts steering stabilizer ;)
Many thanks for your Video and comment to the suspension setting you've used. What's about the air pressure and which tire have you used. I'm waiting for my DESERT X and will try to ride like you ;-) many thanks
Pressure I have used was too high. I was afraid to not wreck tube as the bike is quite powerfull. Normaly I would love to go around 1.2, but it is too low OEM wheels. Id love to have narrow offroad Excel rims with mousses for race like this
Just have a sit on black painted version. Love the design and look. Looking forward to have a test drive. Like the way you moving forward in non-stop mode. I tried do such roads with my honda cbf but I felt it to heavy. Looking for lighter bike - this could be a choice.
Ur right, but it was later fitted with decat and its quite enough… Of course, with slip on it would be pretty agressive, but it wont hurt your feelings when you drop the bike on OEM silencer :)
Great ability. Was this completely stock bike? My Desert X doesn't get this kind of freedom. lol Only due to my lack of ability. Keep up the good work.
I am not sure what tyres I used, but those were classic 140 enduro tyre in rear and MX tyre in front with tubes on OEM rims… Now the bike has Bartubeless rims (1.85x21 and 2.50x18) with mousses and it improves the bike a lot!!!
